Braxton County Schools teamed up with Great Southern University (GSU) to create and utilize mathematics problem-based learning
(B!) modules that are aligned with "ew State Standards #or $athematics ("SS$)% &eachers were trained during a #ive-day summer
wor'shop which consisted o# small group activities with trips to local businesses and industries% #ter the wor'shop teachers will
remain in contact with GSU sta## through email and wi'i pages% mid-implementation meeting will be conducted to address *uestions
and concerns that may arise during implementation o# the pro+ect% t the conclusion o# the pro+ect the participants will meet once
again to discuss the sel#-evaluations and to identi#y best practices% &he wi'i utilized during the implementation period will be opened
to provide examples o# modules created during the process%
