3
Overview
There are 31 districts that have been affected by the reviews
Reviews dated back to FY 2010
United States Department of Education (ED) has suggested a 5 year corrective process• FY 2015 allocations are correct and out to the schools in a timely
fashion• The repayment of services over the next 4 years
Schedules were determined on a case-by-case basis in consultation with the Office of the Chief Financial Officer
Starting with FY 2016, the repayment will come out of the LEA’s annual Title II-A allocations

Reducing Liability
All affected LEAs have worked to reduce their liability where possible
• Found documented activities where districts included the non-public schools NOT PREVIOUSLY INCLUDED IN ORIGINAL APPLICATION
• Documented those activities on II-A Fiscal Adjustment Form (provided)
• Supplied evidence of the non-public schools being included (i.e. email correspondence, meeting agendas, budgets, fiscal worksheets)
• Tallied the proportionate share
• Subtracted the total deductions from the estimated cost II-A amount owed by the LEA
