To network and become a recognizable name for myself in the fashion industry and field of Journalism

Objective
Get an internship at Cosmopolitan MagazineCreate my own blog and have at least 500 followers Graduate with a BA in Journalism and Creative writing
To be offered a writing position at a fashion magazine I want my employer to see my passion for both writing and fashion. I want to be given the opportunity to help people through words
SWAT Analysis
Strengths: great communications skill, dependable, meet deadlines, work well in groupsWeakness: procrastinate
Opportunity: internships Threats: newspapers are now changing to digital, less jobs at newspaper are being offered.
Online Presence
It is so important that I keep up with the latest fashions, making connections and getting my reviews and articles read. I do this through: Facebook, Linkedin, Myspace, Twitter, ning and Youtube.
I plan on becoming apart of blogger.com I plan on developing my social brand
Social Media Brand Message
My social brand will show who I am and my passion for writing through my writings on fashion and event currents in fashion. I want employer to be able to get a preview of who I am so it will encourage them to want to meet me. I want my social brand to give off positive vibes.
Strategies
I will make more networking moves by creating my own blog, start to follow more editors and writing and befriend them on Facebook and try to communicate with them. I will visit comsomag.com, WWD.com, vogue.com and cocreteloop.com
Tactics
Short term:Create my blog Get an internshipGraduate
Long term: Move to New York or California and get a job in the field of fashion Go to school to further my higher education
