There is space for about 2 cars at any time to pull up for a period of less than two minutes to drop or pick up students. You can’t be more than 3 metres from your vehicle during this time. This is within the ‘No Parking” zone on Hawthorn Parade. Look for the banner on our school fence.
Chicken Pox
We have had two confirmed cases of chicken pox in the last couple of days—one student in Stage 1 and one in Stage 2. Please click this link for further details or go to

FGHS Year Advisor Visit
This Wednesday Year 6 will meet their Year Advisor for 2021. This visit is part of the Year 6 High School Orientation Program and this is a great opportunity to meet a familiar face that they will be seeing during their visits to Francis Greenway HS this year. We hope that you were able to attend last week’s parent information session and we are happy to pass on any feedback from the event.
Regards,
Michael Edwards

Opera Australia: The Barber of Seville- Visiting Performance
On Tuesday the 24th March (Week 9), Opera Australia is coming to Beresfield Public School to present ‘The Barber of Seville’ for all students in K-6. The show is one of the most popular operas ever written!
A serious case of love at first sight is a big problem for Count Almaviva. Enter the resourceful barber named Figaro, who cleverly solves everyone’s problems — for a price.
Secret letters, cunning disguises and all sorts of confusion will delight young audiences as the boy gets the girl and Figaro gets paid!
The cost of the show is $8 per student and is payable to the office by 3.15pm Friday 20th March (Week 8). Payments may be made at the office by EFTPOS or cash (in a zip lock bag labelled with your child’s name and class), credit card over the phone or with the Parent Online Payment Portal (POP) on our school website.
