All manpower and/or staff shall be absolutely under the Contractor's sponsorship. No sub-contractors will

be allowed unless required for specialized works and approved by Owner.

Contractor shall adhere to the required qualifications of project Key Personnel's, to be submitted for

approval of the Owner, as follows:

Project Manager - min. 8 years experience in the installation of electrical equipment (Electrical Engineer)

Site Engineer - min. 5 years experience in experience in the installation of Elevators or other Conveying

systems (Electrical Engineer). (as required)

Safety Officer - min. 5 years experience as a Safety Officer.(as required)

Planner/ Scheduler - min. 5 years experience as a construction planner/ scheduler as required.

Entrance of heavy equipment to be used in the project shall be coordinated with the KFSH&RC Security

Department

Div. 01 - GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

The following is (but not necessarily limited to) the list of preliminary items as set and described in the contract documents or required to complete the project. If the

Contractor fails to price any item of the list, it shall be deemed that no charge is to be made, or the item is covered in other rates elsewhere.

Contractor shall prepare and submit detailed shop drawings, samples, technical reports and other submittals as required per the Tech Spec requirements for approval prior to

implementation.

Structures,surfaces and or services outside the limits of construction damaged or affected by the construction activities shall be restored by the contractor without additional cost

against the KFSHRC.

All works shall comply with applicable building codes and regulations and Hospital and Infection Control building requirements.

The Contractor shall investigate the site to assess all obstructions and/or existing buildings and structures, installations and works that may affect the work.

It is the responsibility of the Contractor to determine the precise location of all existing utilities and under ground services within the project limit and to protect them from any

damage during his work.

Contractor shall assure that all works will be executed with minimal interruption / shut-down of service utilities on all affected areas.

The Contractor shall check all existing site conditions himself and compare it with the new drawings and requirements. It shall be deemed that the Contractor has included in

his prices the cost of removal and demolition and modifications of all obstructions even for those that might not be specifically indicated under the item description in the B.O.Q.

DIVISION 02 - EXISTING CONDITIONS

All existing service utilities interfacing with the affected structures and installations shall be safely disconnected by the Contractor at the points decided by the Owner before the

commencement of any works and shall be appropriately terminated and capped. All existing structures and equipment that are not demolished adjacent or within the work site

shall be properly protected for the duration of the work.

The costs shall include all labor, equipment, tools, construction barriers, etc. used, disposal of debris from site,capping-off all affected utility services and

patch up/ restoration of affected adjacent surfaces as required. In addition, the following shall be considered in the cost:

UNINTERRUPTIBLE POWER SUPPLY (UPS) : Supply, testing and commissioning of Static Uninterruptible Power

Supply (UPS) System including batteries, battery rack, conduits, cables and circuit breakers. Supply & installation

of DC cables and termination between UPS-BCB-Batteries, installation and termination of input/output cables,

extension and jointing of the existing power cables as needed, and all other required components for a complete

and functional UPS System. Retermination of existing BMS general/common fault alarm for the new UPS. Works

shall include disconnection and removal of the the old UPS units and accessories and handover to the hospital

maintenance department.
