The party2014, Indian Ink, A5Just because you look busy and happen to draw other people instead of socializing with them, doesn’t mean you’re bored. It’s actually quiet a lot of fun looking at people who are trying to stand up straight for a longer period of time.

Hrönn2013, Indian Ink, A4When your friend offers to sit still for 10 minutes as a sketch-model, you better take the opportunity to draw them.

Mellow Jackie2013, Indian Ink, A5Catching that instant when someone is looking into nothing-ness. Maybe they’re dreaming about what to have for dinner, or contemplating if that thing in their childhood really happened. Whatever it is, it’s a nice moment to capture.

Holiday Flowers2013, Charchoal, A2Waiting for new years eve at your parents house doesn’t have to be boring. Espescially when there’s flowers to draw.

Depletion2013, Dotwork, Indian ink, A3The stress we put on mother nature is taking it’s toll. Overproduction is causing these erroded dessert lands, making it hard to re-grow plants, and therefore food.

Artichoke2013, Graphite Pencil, A5Artichokehearts are just the best. Dab a little butter on that beast and you’re golden. They’re also pretty neat-looking, so buy them and start drawing. That’s what I did.

Maya’s shoes2014, Indian Ink, A5I love how sometimes the shoes a person has tells something about them. High heels, boots, socks in sandals. What does Maya’s shoes say?

Royal Gala2014, Colour Pencil, A5The first time you draw a fruit with colour-pencils and is happy with it, you deserve a Royal Gala. And not the kind you dress up real fancy for.

Photographic Memory2013, Charcoal, A2Drawing your own hand a thousand times over pays of. So much so, you can pretty much draw it anytime, anywhere and look just like your hand, only in 2:1 scale.

Funky Bananarama2014, Indian Ink, A4Everybody loves bananas, right? Here is a lovely ripe banana turned into a fresh, fun, sorbet-colored pattern. Round of pattern made in Photoshop and Illustrator.

Symmetric2014, Photography, PhotoshopWhen life gives you lemons, you make lemonade. Or take photographs of your friends and turn them into symmetrical aliens in a make-believe digital magazine.

Kangaroorat Vibes2014, Watercolour, Sugarsolution, A3Is it a rat? Is it a kangaroo? Maybe it’s both. I’ll leavethat open to interpretation.

Order/Chaos2014, Graphite Pencil, Photoshop, IllustratorA pattern based on the notion of order and chaos. It’s structured, but repetition makes it complex. Change a tiny bit and it’s chaotic. Just like real life I guess.

Restless Furniture2013, Scrapwood, Textile, Cotton, Spraypaint, Scale 1:5The result of turning a feeling into something not so abstract, but very concrete. A manifestation of restlessness in mundan-de objects, like the basic wooden chair. Except the uneven and pitched legs makes them a little bit special.

10

When an otherwise calm person sits on any of these chairs, they experience key elements of restlessness: an inability to be still, quiet, at peace or comfortable.
