Again this year, our Parish Food Cupboard will be providing special Thanksgiving food for our neighbors in need. Thanksgiving baskets will be given out Tuesday, November 26th, to
families who might otherwise lack the resources for food to celebrate this day. We will also provide ready-to-eat hams and other treats for our clients without cooking facilities.
We expect to provide 48 baskets containing a turkey and everything needed for Thanksgiving Dinner. The cost for this is about $45 per basket.
If you would like to help us to continue this important ministry, your monetary
donation in any amount would be greatly appreciated. Please make your check out to “St. Vincent de Paul” and note “Thanksgiving Food” on the memo line. Checks can be
placed in the collection basket at Mass or dropped off at the Parish Office. Questions? Call Pat at 657-4297

Our parish is fortunate to offer an opportunity to celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation every Saturday beginning at 4pm. For all who wish to celebrate this Sacrament, we ask that you please arrive as close to 4pm as possible. Please keep in mind the priest who is in the confessional is often the priest celebrating the 5pm Mass and he also needs to prepare for Mass.
Thanksgiving is coming! Thursday, November 28th will be here before we know it, and a great holiday takes so much forethought and planning, dedication and
preparedness.
For us as Catholics, the ultimate thanksgiving we can give to God is to come together and celebrate the Eucharist. Before we spend a day of gratitude with our family and friends, let us come together as a parish family to give thanks to God.
Please join us for Mass at 9am on Thursday November 28th.
If you are unable to celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation before the start of the 5pm Mass, please see the priest after Mass and inquire about an appointment. You can also call the office to set up an appointment.
Heartfelt thanks to the many parishioners and families that supported the Knights of
Columbus, PG Council #5210 pancake breakfast on Sunday, September 29th. Attendance surpassed most of our prior events and the Knights are truly grateful. Your support helps the PG Council achieve our goals in support of the St. Angela Merici Parish as well as other worthy charitable works. Thank you again!! Just an advance note that the Pancake Breakfast normally scheduled for December 29th, the 5th Sunday of the month, may be moved to January 12th due to the Christmas and New Year's holidays. Further announcements will be made as we approach that date. Again, thank you for your support!

A Vocation is a continuing call from God to share His love.
God our Father, you created us in Your image, desiring us to be united in a loving community. You give us each a family to help us grow and learn to love You and each other, so that one day we may be perfectly united with You in Heaven. Help us to discover and to live the vocations to which you are calling us. Give us grace to support each other in this discovery, to promote each other’s wellbeing and happiness, knowing that we are happiest following Your call. May this family imitate the unity of the Holy Trinity, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, so that each member might be a shining witness to the world of Your love. Amen.
