PROGRESS REPORTS

Please check your child’s Teacher Communication Envelope for their Progress Report for the 4th Quarter. If you

have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact your child’s teacher.

STUDENT ABSENTEE LINE

Just a reminder that if your child will be out sick or late to school, you must call the office before 9:00am

and let us know. The number to call is 412-279-6611 x109. Please leave a message with your name, the name

of the student, the student’s homeroom teacher, and a number where you can be reached. You can call the night

before or early in the morning and leave a message. Even if you email your child’s teacher, we must get a call in

the office. Thank you!

AOK KINDRAISER - WEEK 1

This is week 1 of our AOK Kindraiser. Students were given their Week 1 AOK log on Monday. Students are to

color the front page and log their Acts of Kindness for each day on the back of the page. This week’s focus is Kind

Words. Talk to your children about the importance of using kind words and how one kind word can mean the world

to someone in need. The Week 1 log is due on Monday, May 8th. Students who turn in their Week 1 log will get to

pick something from the treasure chest next week! A copy of the log is included in this Mail Day packet.

TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK

This week is National Teacher Appreciation Week. Thank you to all of our teachers for your hard work and your

dedication to the students and to OLG! We truly appreciate all that you do to make OLG an amazing place to be!

The PTG is busy this week bringing delicious lunches or breakfasts everyday for our teachers! If you see a teacher

this week, let them know how much you appreciate all that they do!

SPECIAL ORDER GIFT CARDS - LAST ORDER FOR THE SCHOOL YEAR

Next Monday, May 8th is the last chance to order special order gift cards from the scrip program this school year.

Those cards will be sent home by Wednesday, May 17th. Don’t forget about graduation, teacher gifts, weddings,

as well as any cards you’ll need for summer vacations!

MOTHER’S DAY SPECIAL PERSONS BREAKFAST RSVP’S DUE FRIDAY, MAY 5TH

All mothers, grandmothers, and special persons are invited to our Mother’s Day Special Persons Breakfast on

Wednesday, May 10th from 8:00am - 8:45am (8:30am - 9:00am for preschoolers and their families). Please join

us for this special day and join your children at the 9:00am Mass after breakfast. If you would like to attend,

please return the RSVP envelope included in this week’s Mail Day envelope, along with payment by Friday, May

5th. RSVP’s are a MUST so we can prepare the proper amount of food. Thank you and we look forward to seeing

you there!

SPORTS BANQUET RSVP’S DUE THURSDAY, MAY 4TH

If you have a student athlete and are planning on attending the Athletic Association Sports Banquet on Saturday,

May 13th, please send in your RSVP form with payment to the office by tomorrow, Thursday, May 4th. A copy of

the form can be found on our website at www.olgscott.net under the Bulletin Board.

CLOROX WIPES NEEDED

We are in need of Clorox wipes at the school. Any donation would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION NEWS

Summer League signups for boys and girls basketball, and girls volleyball are now open. If you would

The Athletic Association is looking for a JV boys basketball coach as well as a JV girls basketball coach for

summer league and for the fall season. If anyone is interested, please contact Will Thomeier at

LIBRARY NEWS

The following book, Completely Clementine was donated to the library by Mr. & Mrs. Alan Popey in celebration of

Mrs. Mary Lou Reicoff’s 20 years at Our Lady of Grace School.

FR. RICHARD INFANTE CELEBRATES 25 YEARS OF PRIESTHOOD

In May, Fr. Richard Infante will be celebrating the 25th anniversary of his priesthood. We would like to give Fr.

Richard a gift to commemorate his anniversary and as a token of our appreciation for all of his support for our

school. If you would like to donate toward this gift, please send in your donation to the school in an envelope

marked “Fr. Richard - anniversary gift” by Thursday, May 11th.

OLG PARISH MAY CROWNING

All school and CCD families are invited to participate in the annual Parish May Crowning on Sunday, May 14th

after the 9:30am Mass. The parish extends a particular invitation to all First Communicants and encourages them

to dress up in their First Communion finery for the occasion. There will be reserved pews in the front of the church

for the First Communicants and their families. Immediately following the 9:30am Mass, all will be invited to process

to the Marian Chapel for this May Crowning devotional to honor the Blessed Mother, Our Lady of Grace.

SUMMER OFFICE HOURS

The last day of school for the students is Monday, June 5th and it is an early dismissal day. The office will be open

until 3:00pm on Monday, June 5th. From Tuesday, June 6th - Thursday, June 8th the office hours will be from

9:00am - 3:00pm. The office will be closed on Fridays during the summer beginning on Friday, June 9th. Starting

Monday, June 12th, the office will be open Monday - Thursday from 9:00am - 12:00pm.
