Amazingly this has been the longest period of time that students have been continuously at school this year. That is definitely not something I would ever have thought I would be saying when we started the school year in January. Our students are invited to come to school on Friday representing their favourite sporting team. This can be wearing the colours of their team or sport uniform. All students will also have a free sausage sizzle at lunch time to recognise the hard work of everyone this term. There will be no lunch orders from the canteen on this day recess orders and ice blocks and drinks will still be able to purchased. All public schools are moving into a new planning phase for the years 2021 - 2024. As a part of this process we would love to hear the opinions of as many parents and community members as possible. To do this we would really value your participation in the Tell Them From Me survey. Further surveys and phone calls will occur early in Term 4 to allow you to have a voice in the direction of our school. Our school is also busy planning for our classes in 2021. A major part of this organisation is having accurate student numbers. If you know of someone planning on starting at our school please encourage them to make contact with the school as soon as possible. Likewise, if you are planning on leaving the school it would be appreciated if we could be told so we can plan for these changes in numbers. ENDEAVOUR

Term 3 Week 9 18 September 2020

Dear Parents and Carers,

Wow, we are heading in to the final week of Term 3.

Amazingly this has been the longest period of time

that students have been continuously at school this

year. That is definitely not something I would ever

have thought I would be saying when we started the

school year in January.

Our students are invited to come to school on Friday

representing their favourite sporting team. This can

be wearing the colours of their team or sport uniform.

All students will also have a free sausage sizzle at

lunch time to recognise the hard work of everyone

this term. There will be no lunch orders from the

canteen on this day – recess orders and ice blocks

and drinks will still be able to purchased.

All public schools are moving into a new planning

phase for the years 2021 - 2024. As a part of this

process we would love to hear the opinions of as

many parents and community members as possible.

To do this we would really value your participation in

the Tell Them From Me survey. Further surveys and

phone calls will occur early in Term 4 to allow you to

have a voice in the direction of our school.

Our school is also busy planning for our classes in

2021. A major part of this organisation is having

accurate student numbers. If you know of someone

planning on starting at our school please encourage

them to make contact with the school as soon as

possible. Likewise, if you are planning on leaving the

school it would be appreciated if we could be told so

we can plan for these changes in numbers.

Regards,

Luke Somerville

TELL THEM FROM ME Parent Survey

Each year we ask our students, staff and

parents to complete a Tell Them From Me

survey. The survey results give the school

valuable input and allows us to shape our

planning to deliver for everyone in our school.

The survey is completely anonymous and will

take approximately 10 minutes to complete.

Please follow the link to complete the survey

THURSDAY NIGHT RAFFLES

Hotel Elermore (formerly Shaft Tavern) has approached us asking if we are interested in resuming our Thursday night raffles

(which run from 5:30pm to 7:30pm).

This of course will be determined by whether or not we can get enough volunteers to run the raffles each week.

We realise that these are difficult times, and are aware that some of you may be avoiding pubs/clubs and restaurants at

the moment, which we completely understand.

We do still need to figure out how it would all work whilst following COVID-19 regulations, but before we decide on how

to proceed, we would like to ask if there is anyone who would be keen to volunteer some of their time? Whether it be

each week, each fortnight, once a month or even just once a Term……we would be very grateful for any time you can

spare!

Please contact us via the email address above, or via our Facebook page, to let us know if you are interested.

Thanks in advance!

Your P&C.

CANTEEN

As the Term draws to a close, our canteen stock levels are quite low. Please keep in mind if ordering next week that some

items may not be available. There will be no lunch order on Friday, 25 September.

If ordering through QuickCliq, please ensure you check for confirmation that your order has been lodged. We have had

some students coming to the canteen looking for recess/lunch orders which are not actually in our QuickCliq system.

Thank you for your continued support of the canteen. Everyone has been so patient and understanding during these

challenging times.
