Response to E-Learning resourcesIt was easy to

navigate, with all

the topics being

very clear

they provide us with a

good foundation of

knowledge to then

discuss further in the

following face-to-face

I’ve used notes

taken from blended

learning in lectures

and group work

helps to give you

the knowledge to

engage fully with

the lesson

there was always lots of

interesting links, questions

and information. I like the use

of video clips as well, they

help to keep us engaged

The more interactive

sessions with videos,

quizzes etc. were more

engaging but not all

sessions are relevant to

these mediums

When combined

with the seminars

they allowed us to

go and further

explore the topics

It depends how

much you put in

it enabled interesting

and thought provoking

discussions in

seminars

Blended learning really

helps to give a strong

foundation to top up in

the face-to-face

information and answers I have

made from the blended learning has

helped me understand topics more

and allows me to contribute to

lectures when we go back over it

I feel like I have

achieved something

once I have

completed a section

Key points

- Dedicated Timetabled time

- Clarity on how long each section will take

- Students like short video clips & mixture of

media

- Students engaged with the tasks

Moodle Lesson format- Collect stats, see who’s engaged prior to session

- Easy to structure, and add small activities to check

understanding or prepare for session

Issues

- Students not easily able to jump around the lesson to

see reflective answers

- Language of Moodle e.g. ‘Submit’/’Grade’ is scary!

Lesson works better with short MCQs

Reflection should sit on students’ e-portfolio ideally

Data should be taken with caveats, but useful to see who

hasn’t accessed it beforehand.
