Do you see yourself in a positive way? Are you able to handle challenges and setbacks well? These are signs of mental and emotional health.

The psychologist Abraham Maslow created a theory called the hierarchy of needs that seeks to explain human development and motivation.

Maslow’s hierarchy shows that once our basic physical and safety needs are met, we become interested in meeting these needs:
