She was a mem- ber of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by a sister, Marie Ladd; and two brothers, Lewis T. Sandefur and George Ray Sandefur. Effie Aldridge Adams, 96, of Cadiz, died Satur-day, Jan. 28, 2012, at 12:03 p.m. at Christian Care Center in Kuttawa.

Brown of Princeton, John-ny Brown of Cynthiana; a daughter, Kathy Thornton of Wheatcroft; six grand-children; a brother and sis-ter-in-law, Harley and Bev-erly Lowery of Caldwell County; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services for Mrs. Brown will be con-ducted Friday, Feb. 3, at 11 a.m. at Cedar Hill Ceme-tery with the Rev. Mike Boyd officiating.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton.
