We are happy to announce that Julie Nguyen will
be the HR Generalist. She joins us from the Technology Services Department. Congratulations on your new

We would like to recognize our Nationally Board certified teachers who
recently renewed their certificates. Not only is it a difficult and arduous
process to become nationally certified, but it is also an involved process to
maintain certification. So kudos to the following individuals:

In the spring, CCPS will open up the applications for any Principal and Assistant Principal positions that may become vacant in the 2017-2018 school year. In order to be considered for any Assistant Principal position, the Administrator I endorsement is required. In order to be considered for any Principal position, the Administrator I/II endorsement is required. If you do not currently have the endorsement on your certificate, but have met all the MSDE requirements to add the endorsement, please email Kelly Keith at [email protected] to review your file. Please know that just because a program has been completed it does not automatically add the endorsement to your certificate. The request must be made and the official transcript (and tests) are needed.
Sharon Adams has begun to work on the 6/30/2017 certificate renewals. If you are in need of coursework to renew your certificate, you may want to take the time over the holiday to schedule your spring courses. You may also want to login the Human Resources Center and review your coursework listed. If something is missing, we may be in need of your official transcript. If you are in a cohort, the courses may be listed as CCPS could have paid for them on your behalf, but we may still be in need of the official transcript. If this is the
case, it will be noted.
Please also be cognizant of any Reading courses you
may need – either Reading 6 or Reading 12.

Carroll County Public Schools Central Office held a fundraiser to benefit Susan G. Komen and the American Cancer Society during October. Over $1,100. in donations were collected.
