FROM THE GUIDANCE DEPARTMENT:
Seniors: If you indicated in Naviance where you will be attending college, your final high school transcript will be automatically sent to that school. You do not need to request this.
Summer school will be offered by GCIT and the registration form / information sheet can be found on the high school website under the Guidance tab.
Students are encouraged to study diligently for their final exams as these count for 10% of their final grade in a course, which can often make the difference between passing and failing for the year.
Students and parents are reminded that students must pass a minimum of 30 credits this year in order to be eligible for fall sports and activities in 2017-18. If you have any questions, please reach out to your child’s guidance counselor.
NEW! The Collegeboard is now offering an August 26th SAT test date. Seniors who want to test again or Juniors who would like to get a head start on college admissions testing are encouraged to consider this date. Go to www.collegeboard.com for more info. The registration deadline is July 28th.
