reflects the desired activities for the way theprocess should be performed.

E-80 Execute Plant Maintenance

• Process and complete all maintenance orders in accordancewith Noble's maintenance processes, procedures and standards

as well as manufacturers recommendations and applicableregulatory requirements.

E-80 Inputs:

1) E-100 Manage Non-Operating Rig PeriodDefine all maintenance aspects for a non-operating rig periodsuch as a shipyard project, date(s) of non-operating rig period,

areas affected, costs to perform maintenance, allocation andavailability of resources and tools (internal and external), andactual maintenance tasks to be accomplished. Communicationand buy-in from all affected parties is essential.

2) E-070 Schedule Plant MaintenanceIdentify, plan, schedule and coordinate daily, weekly, monthly,quarterly, semi annual, or annual plant maintenance activities.

E-80 Inputs:

3) L-030 Manage Material WarehousingManage all aspects of inventory storage, movement and levelsfor raw materials, spare parts and finished goods in the

warehouse. This includes receiving, storage, issues and returnsfrom production and shipment to end customer or distributiontype facility. Prepare necessary paperwork for internal andexternal requirements

1) E-050 Maintain and Manage Master Maintenance RecordsCreate and maintain all master records pertaining to plantmaintenance. This data may be creation of functional locations,

equipment, permits, characteristics, warranties, bill of materials, etc. Changes and updates to these master recordscan be done at any time.

2) L-030 Manage Material Warehousing

Manage all aspects of inventory storage, movement and levelsfor raw materials, spare parts and finished goods in thewarehouse. This includes receiving, storage, issues and returnsfrom production and shipment to end customer or distributiontype facility. Prepare necessary paperwork for internal andexternal requirements.

3) E-060 Identify and Plan Plant MaintenanceIdentify, plan and perform all activities associated withmaintaining and enhancing the performance and capabilities of

existing equipment and facilities. To assure that plantmaintenance is aligned with the organization, maintenancepersonnel should be part of the organization's budget andstrategy team.

4) E-040: Maintain Work Order Historical InformationHistorical work order information is maintained for futurereference. This information includes planning activities,documentation of maintenance actions, past history of maintenance, equipment notes, etc. Ownership of data must bedefined.

5) DC-040 Perform Fixed Asset Accounting.Management of a large asset base poses many problems. In orderto simplify the management they are often split into different

systems for management purposes.These include outside plant,line cards, land buildings and towers, motor vehicles, etc. Thesesystems perform management and stewardship functions.
