•Transverse ventral presentation is not uncommon
•Wryneck is seen most commonly in equine foetus
“The abnormal positions and postures, together with violent labor contractions, frequently result in impaction of foetus in the pelvis.”

SITE OF INCISION

REMOVING THE FOETUS
