    Normally metal carbides are very hard in nature. The importance of

    Iron Carbide, Fe3C (an important phase of steel also termed as cementite)

    had no direct industrial application had certain amount of scientific

    Preliminary experiments were done in Fritsch Pulverisette Mill available in

    the institute that time (in 120 hr, very small Fe3C peak feasible) did not

    Crude prototype was developed in 6 months and in 40 hr milled powderwas analyzed using XRay Diffraction: moment of triumph.
