synopsis “One morning I left…” it is Ana´s trip to nature, through imagination.A journey of colors, sounds, landscapes and animals, in which boys and girls will be invited to discover, feel and enjoy.

the show

Ana decides to travel and to get it is helped by Gaspar and accompanied by Oliver.In her trip she discovers what inhabits in nature; the sun, the flowers, butterflies and several places. We see Ana milking a cow in the countryside, flying on a big bird over the desert, diving among bubbles and exploring the jungle. Cloths, buckets, funnels and ropes support this trip, giving life magically. Music, sounds and live songs – guitar, clarinet, percussion instruments and effects – are the text of the play.This conjunction of elements make “One morning I left…” an intimate and captivating show.

theater company

The Company Teatro de Ocasión was founded in 2010 and is dedicated entirely to creating theater and music spectacles for early childhood. Their concerns relate to investigation and approach to unusual audiences, combining Theater, Music and Popular Culture.

With “One morning i left”, project financed by the Fund Iberescena 2010-2011 and co -directed by Teloncillo Teatro from Spain, travel Chile from Arica to Puerto Williams, successfully presented in the main sites and national festivals, obtaining the first place in the Children’s Theatre Festival de la Reina. In 2013, they started the internationalization of the Company, being invited to the 53rd version of the MESS International Festival of Bosnia i Herzegovina, winning the Audience Award for Best Performance in the Children MESS category. Since then they travel continuously by Chile, Brazil, Mexico, Canada, Spain and Switzerland.

In November 2013 release their second theater and music show for early childhood “The round trip” whose Co- direction was given by prominent chilean actor and director Jaime Lorca (ViajeInmóvil), assembly like its predecessor show, runs Chile and abroad.

In 2014 they are invited by the OEI to the First Latin American Festival of Children’s Theatre in Mexico DF (FITINJ) and participated in the Congress Theatre and Education.

Create and organize the “Festival de Ocasión” Latin American Festival of Performing Arts for Early Childhood single instance in Chile, which already has two successful versions (2013, 2014).

Teatro de Ocasión requires three (3) hours for the staging of set design and sound test;the dismantling, is carried out in a maximum of two hours (2) hours. The schedule specifications must be agreed together with the organization and must be given written notification in production timing with the duly priority.
