Congratulations to Kobe, Charlie, Sebastian, Ellie, Benjiman, Sylvie, Hanna and Max. I have included photos of the children receiving their badges in today's newsletter. As we prepare for the full implementation of Positive Behavior for Learning it is now time for us to decide on a school mascot. Traditionally schools choose an animal from their local context. We are seeking ideas and suggestions from our school community on what our mascot could be and why, through a short 1 question survey. Some background information to help guide your thinking: Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) is being implemented at our school to support the learning and wellbeing of all students. This is a whole school approach for creating a positive, safe and supportive school climate in which students can learn and develop. Our PBL Core Values are: - Respect - Responsibility - Excellence Our School Motto is: Strive for Excellence The survey question can be found online at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/7VFNV7X or alternatively, a handwritten idea can be sent into the school office. I look forward to your responses. Thank you to Marshall Kellett for his generous donation of $212 to the school. Marshall had started to fundraise for his trip to Bathurst for the PSSA State Trials for Cricket which now cannot go ahead due to COVID restrictions. We'll be sure to purchase something special with this money and hope Marshall has the opportunity to attend the trials in the future. Next week we'll be celebrating Education Week.
