“The Guru is like a compass: it will tell you where the North Pole is and where you are in relationship to it, but it will not take you there. It sets up a relationship between you and your infinite consciousness so that you can have that guidance to follow in your life. “ – Yogi Bhajan
“Gurdwara” mean’s the “Guru’s Door.” Spend a day or the whole week-‐end at Guru Ram Das Ashram surrounded by the Guru and the Guru’s devotees.
Saturday, attend the Door of the Guru and learn how to be in sweet relationship with the Siri Guru Granth Sahib. We will learn how to ask the Guru for guidance with Ardas & Hukam. We will know the joy of seva. We will learn the devotional technology surrounding reading, understanding, and singing precious words of this beloved source of strenth. We will gain the understanding needed to care for the Guru in our homes if we so wish. (over for details of the Saturday program and overview of Devotion Weekend)
