Installation of Reward Points for Woocommerce

Installation

● Install Word Press from http://codex.wordpress.org/Installing_WordPress. ● Upload via FTP: - Unzip the zip archive you have downloaded on your computer.

Upload the folder to your server via FTP into the directory plugins on your Word press installation (wp-content → plugins).

● Upload via Word press Admin: - Go to your WordPress admin panel, and then to Plugins. Click on "Add New" and then upload the zip file of the plugin using "Upload Plugin" button you can find on top of the screen.

● For the plugin to work as it should, WooCommerce plugin has to be installed and enabled.

Activation Once you have uploaded the plugin, activate your plugin in Plugins → Installed plugins. If it has been activated correctly, plugin control panel is available in the tab Reward Points in WordPress dashboard.

Description It is a plugin which provides the customers to get the reward points on the basis of the purchase of the products or the money spent by them. General Settings available

● Get Points for - Admin can set the points for the product price like 1$ = 1 points so if the product price is $30 then customer will get 30 points. Like this you can set the rules.

● Redemption Value For – The admin can set this settings for the redemption of points. Like for 1 points they will get 1$ as per the admin requirement.

● Referral Points – Can set the referral points functionality.This functionality is available in “set points” tab.

● How does it work – When any user can register on your website. They will

receive a Referral Code. And when he logins into his account then in the account details he will see a option to send the referral code to his friend. When his friend register on the site by using the referral code then the person who sends the referral code will get the Referral Points.

● Birthday Points – Can set the Birthday points also. You could enable the Birthday Date functionality and then at the my account page the Customer can enter the Birthday date to get the Birthday Points. You can enable it from settings and and can set points in “set points” tab.

● Earn Points for Product Purchase by Product % - You could set the percentage for product price. On the basis of product price it calculate the % you have set and give the points.

Frontend view :

● User Role Based – You could set the user role to give the points to the particular user only.

● Product based points can be set

1. Go to a product → click on edit option. 2. Then at the bottom you will see the option to add the reward points for a product. 3. Then click on update button.

NOTE : Make sure the order is Completed state not on On-hold or Processing. Once the order is completed then only customer will get points.

● First Account SignUp Points,First Order Points , Review Points and Paypal payment gateway points: When user first time place order then they can get the points for that. Admin can set points for this also.

● Points Expiry Date and Reward Points Earning Date: Can set the date for the points expiry and reward point earning date. Reward points earning date takes date from current date to future dates. This setting is available in “settings” tab.

● Set the Limit to Redeem Reward Points Per Order: You can set limit for use of

reward points per order. This is available in “settings” tab.

● Apply Points option on Cart and Checkout Page: You can show the apply points button on the cart as well as on checkout page also.

● Enable Customer Points on my account page: By enable this settings the customer can view the points on their my account page.

● Can edit the text for every notification: You can edit text for every notification through “notification” tab. Note: Don’t erase points written in {}.

● You can adjust frontend settings through “Styling” tab.

Customer Report Section:

● Admin can see the reward points and the amount in their wallet earned by the customer.

● Customer get the reward points once the order has been completed.

● Details of all the points earned by the customer by click on the “View” option.

● Admin can manage the customer points.

Go to the customer report section under the reward points tab and then click on edit to manage the points.

● Shortcode of Reward Points to show on any page – You can use this shortcode :

[phoen_reward_points_user] to show customer points on any page. Go to pages → add new → then add this shortcode.
