This presentation illustrates three concepts for the Divisions
website.
The design and animation evokes movable surfaces and the
application of the Divisions fabrics to these structures.
introduction
DiVISIONS
swivel The home page includes a swiveling animation and refers
to the moveable wall structures to which the Division fabric is
applied.The animation simulates a pivoting wall and occurs only at
chapter headings. The use of line illustration denes how Division
fabrics are used at different public events.
CONCEPT 1
frames Opening animation is looped until a selection is made.
Upon selection, the wall appears to swivel and the chapter heading
fades in. Each chapter is accessible at the main menu on the far
left. The wall swivels again as the present chapter fades out and
the next chapter heading fades in.

DiVISIONS
panorama This concept evokes the idea of temporary spaces
created by wall partitions. The pan-orama is akin to encountering a
multi-purpose space where fabrics stand up to the wear and tear of
many different events. The panorama is inspired by the experience
of passing through and peering into various function rooms.
CONCEPT 2
frames The panorama is a continous strip that pans across,
stopping at the chapter heading of choice. Along the way, the user
witnesses various happenings.

DiVISIONS
slider For this concept, we have referenced the logo as a series
of stacked panels which slide out for the different chapters and
content.Mousing over the Designing with Divisions panel allows for
the reappearance of the main menu bar.
CONCEPT 3
frames Each subsequent layer slides out in the order of the
stacked panels. The content is stationary until the next chapter
heading is selected.
