    .100 Culverts - Structural (1) Rating: 5

    Notes: (none)

    .101 Inlet (1) Rating: 4

Notes: Previously Rated 4 The inlet structure exhibits moderate to heavy deterioration. The worst conditions are

found at the east and west wingwalls where the top and free end surfaces are moderately to heavily spalled. Thespalling extends for approximately 2/3s of the wingwall length and reaches 6 deep. The concrete within the spallscrumbles easily when struck with a hammer. The vertical surfaces on both wingwalls exhibits mapcracking affecting100% of their surface areas with moderate efflorescence leakage. Additionally, just above the culvert opening, thewest wingwall has a horizontal crack with profuse leakage exuding near the junction with the headwall.

The headwall exhibits small areas of honeycombing and spalling. The majority of the headwalls vertical surface isaffect by mapcracking with moderate efflorescence.

    See Photograph No's. 1, 2 & 3.

    .102 Outlet (1) Rating: 6

Notes: Previously Rated 6 The outlet is in very good condition with only minor deterioration. The rating remains 6.

    See Photograph No. 4.

    .303 Obstructions (1) Rating: 4

Notes: Previously Rated 5 The trash rack is partially blocked by a large accumulation of rock, branches and debris. The accumulation does not appear to impede the function of the dive culvert since there is no defined upstreamchannel or ditch. The rating has been lowered to 4.

    See Photograph No. 6.

    .304 Watertight Integrity (1) Rating: 4

Notes: Previously Rated 4 The inlet structure has an area of seepage just above the top of the culvert opening onits headwall and west wingwall. The leakage is profuse at the junction of the two walls. There is no relative distressfound in the embankment adjacent to the structure.

The embankment adjacent to the northwest corner of the structure was observed to be only slightly moist during thisinspection.

    The rating will remain 4.

    See Photograph No. 3.
