Start again from step 8 with a new unit . Continoue to step 13 for the Bottom Slit unit.

Steps 9 to 12 creates the Top Slit unit. Make all pre creases before the Collapse.

Steps 7-8 are common to both type of units. precrease as shown, and open up.

Sink all 4 corners while the corneres of both the triangles meet in the back.

Use the side view to understand the collapsed position.

Connecting 2 crossing units

From the other side.

Assembling

First connect 3 corners of the Top Slit unit pyramid. Take two units (A, B), and insert A tab into B pocket. Insert B tab into C pocket, and C tab into A pocket.Complete this pyramid with 6 units.Now attach the Bottom Slit units to all the Top Slit units. when all are attached, you can connect all four corners of the second pyramid.
