CNY Ghost Hunters: Paranormal Evidence Explored Thurs., March 10 @ 7:00 pm Learn why, where and how CNY Ghost Hunters identify paranormal activity. Watch video evidence, hear EVPs (Electronic Voice Phenomena) and ask your questions about the evidence captured over the years. They'll also bring some equipment and re-view what each piece does and how it’s used. Registration Encouraged. Arthritis Foundation Exercise Class Fridays @ 11:00am March 11 & 25 Learn exercises to help improve joint and muscle mobility! The Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program is designed to help those with joint and/or muscle problems achieve improved mobility, muscle strength and endurance in order to perform their daily activities. Spanish Dance Tuesday, May 10 @ 7:00pm

With a nod to Cinco de Mayo, we’re pleased to offer a Latin dance celebration. Maria Guzman-Colegrove, a bailaora (dancer), will begin the evening with a short talk and demonstration of Cielito Lindo, a very popular folk song/dance. She will be accompanied by Andy Culpepper on togue (guitar) and cante (singer) Luba Lesser. Audience participation encouraged following the demonstration. Registration Encouraged. About the Performers: Guzman-Colegrove, Culpepper, and Lesser are members of Alegre Flamenco, a Central New York collaborative of dancers and musicians. Alegre Flamenco specializes in traditional and modern interpretations of Flamenco, a passionate and seductive art form from Spain. Culpepper is a professional luthier, and Lesser teaches voice and piano and is a adjunct voice professor at Onondaga Com-munity College. www.alegreflamenco.com

ICICLES Friday, March 11 @ 7:00 pm The ski club of St. John’s Academy travels to a re-sort in the Adirondacks for some fun in the snow, but the weekend of skiing will end in murder. Registration Required.

MAYDAY: A Murder in Retrospect Friday, May 20 @ 7:00 pm A World War I Flying Ace survived the Great War but may not survive the night as a decades old murder resurfaces to haunt him and others... Registration Required.

You’re invited to a mystery at the DCL! Look for clues, interrogate suspects, and solve a crime.

For ages 18 & up! Are you a fan of whodunnits and crime solving? Discover motive, means and opportunity as you set out to solve the crime. Participants will receive their invitations pri-or to each event; they will discover who they are upon arrival at the scene of the crime. Additional clues will be re-vealed as the evening progresses. There’s plenty of time to solve the crime, so be sure to enjoy the provided refresh-ments. A good time will be had by all! Registration Required.

Discovery To Go STEM Brainstorms - For parents and educators

By popular demand, these sessions will give parents the opportunity to develop curriculum-related activities with the DTG kits and equipment. Each month, we will bring out a selection of DTG equip-ment and explore a specific theme while thinking about ways to support age-appropriate learning with these items. Parents and educators can preview the kits and develop learning goals for their kids and students incorporating these hands-on activity kits. Great brainstorms can be shared with other DTG kit borrowers to support learning opportunities for kids throughout the community. All sessions are in the Buckland Room from 12:00 to 1:00pm Wednesday, March 23 - Powerful Toys Come and learn with library staff as we dive into the new DTG kits: Snap Circuits, MakeyMakey, and K'NEX. Wednesday, April 27 - Tech + Teach Come and learn with library staff as we dive into the new DTG kits: Lego WeDo and the Apps available on the Library iPads. Wednesday, May 25 - Scope it Out Come and learn with library staff as we dive into the new DTG kits: FirstScope Telescope, Duo-Scope Microscope, Stereo microscope, and Binoculars.

For ages 8 - 16. Become your favorite popular fictional characters in the Digital Reader’s Theater and be intro-duced to the world of dynamic sto-rytelling. Learn about digital audio recording, and podcasting as you create your informally staged pro-duction of a popular book or two.

Toddler Time T U E S D A Y S @ 1 0 : 3 0 A M March 1 - May 24 For ages 2 - 3 years old This fun and active storytime is for toddlers ages 2 - 3 years old and their caregivers. Enjoy stories, action rhymes, songs, and fingerplays for about 30 minutes fol-lowed by a coloring sheet or simple craft.

Preschool Storytime T H U R S D A Y S @ 1 0 : 3 0 A M March 3 - May 26 For ages 3 - 5 years old Children ages 3 to 5 and their caregivers will enjoy theme-based books, flannel stories, rhymes, songs, and a craft. Come shake your sillies out and dance with your friends! There will be musical instruments, bubbles, and more! Digital Readers’ Theater Thursday, March 17 at 11:00am For grades 3 - 12. Everybody gets a part. Nobody has to memorize anything, and we’ll record our production. See more about this pro-gram on page 6. Adirondack Museum Thursday, April 21 at 11:00am For grades K - 12. Find out who our natural neighbors are. Who shares the Adirondack woods and waters with us? Using pelts, bones, and tracks, students will be

able to identify a variety of mammals and help develop an understanding of how humans and animals interact. Surprise Tower Build Thursday, May 19 at 11:00am For grades 3 - 12. Build a giant tower using a surprise material. Learn more about art concepts including positive and negative space and design. Local sculptor and art teacher Pam Steele leads us through a beginner-level understanding and appreciation of sculpture.

Get in the St. Patrick's Day spirit with a lively performance by Drumcliffe Irish Arts. Drumcliffe Irish Arts is one of Upstate New York's premiere Irish dance schools. Since its founding over 20 years ago, the school’s reputation for offering precise Irish dance instruction, combined with creative choreography has attracted both recreational and competitive dancers alike.
