EMBRACING YOUR INNER CHILD
Innovators still embrace the curiosity of their inner child.
Their lives are not driven by fear. They still have the curiosity,
courage, and drive to keep exploring and pushing boundaries.

FAILURE
•One of the most important aspects of establishing an innovative organizational culture is embracing failure as part of innovation.

2. How is seeing failure as a process of innovation rejected or ridiculed?
3. How do these attitudes help or hinder innovation?

CONCLUSION
• Innovation should not be the result of a once-a-year brainstorming event.
• Innovation can and should be a continual process, something that happens every day.
© R A N D Y G R I E S E R & A C H I E V E C E N T R E F O R L E A D E R S H I P & W O R K P L A C E P E R F O R M A N C E
•Use the word “innovation” in your day to day vocabulary.
•An innovative culture will not thrive if leadership doesn’t embrace failure as part of the process.
• Involve everyone in the process – not just leaders.
• Create time for focused discussions around innovation.
•Always be on the look out for “What’s Next”. And then work to bring that idea into reality!
