Considerate Constructor Scheme The project will be registered and audited against the above scheme. As part of the CCS protocol we will undertake regular contact with the local residents through regular newsletter advising of site activities. In addition contact numbers will be displayed at the site entrance to provide residents with means to contact the project management team should the need arise. In terms of the monitoring of dust nuisance issues site activities will be monitored as a minimum weekly through the Environmental Coordinators check sheet. Any issues noted during these inspections will be subject to immediate corrective actions. Our approach to the project will be to install base coat tarmacadam at the earliest practical opportunity which will be kept clean an free from dust accumulation with vacuum road sweepers. Noise Suppression Measures In terms of noise suppression we will work in accordance with Ciria’s Environmental Good Practice site guide. In each instance selection of lower noise methods and plant will be the first mitigation. Beyond this we will ensure that static plant is located away from sensitive receptors and locally screened to reduce noise nuisance. In selecting our main compound location we have chosen a position with our site boundary that provides the greatest distance from adjoining properties. Working Hours It is intended that the working hours will be 07.30-19.00 hours Monday- Friday. Due to the nature of maintaining a live school it will be necessary to extend these hours, to perform such activities as diversions. The option of working Saturday 07.30-16.00 and Sunday 07.30-14.00 would also be requested for added opportunity to perform key interface works, within the school
