PDEA ROXII PARTICIPATED

DURING ‘BRIGADA ESKWELA

2019’

Anti-narcotic operatives, administrative and technical division personnel of the Philippine

Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Regional Office XII under the supervision and control of

Deputy Director Rey Pavillar, actively participated during the Department of Education –

Brigada Eskwela 2019 in the Region on May 20-24, 2019.

Thirteen selected secondary and elementary schools were visited by different provincial

teams in the Region to show support and help in the nationwide effort to clean and beautify

the public schools for the upcoming school opening this June 2019.

Among the schools in General Santos City that were visited by the team during the first

and second day were Fatima Central Elementary School and General Santos City National

High School.

On May 22, 2019, the North Cotabato Provincial Team visited Lope T. Quail Elementary

School in Libungan, Cotabato, Paco Central Elementary School and Amas Central

Elementary School (both in Kidapawan City) and lent a helping hand thru painting of walls

and cleaning of school yards.

Operatives of the South Cotabato Provincial Office also joined the parents and teachers of

Concepcion National High School and Marbel 6 Elementary School in Koronadal City, South

Cotabato during the said activity.

Parents, teachers and students of Alabel Central Elementary School in Alabel, Sarangani

and Malungon National High School were also assisted by the Sarangani Provincial Team

during their Brigada Eskwela.

The Sultan Kudarat Provincial Office also volunteered their effort, time and resources during

the fourth day of Brigada Eskwela in New Isabela Elementary School, Kalawag Central

Elementary School and Tacurong National High School.

The clients of Balay Silangan Reformatory Center in Malungon, Sarangani also took part in

Brigada Eskwela at Nagpan Elementary School in Malungon, Sarangani Province.

Aside from cleaning up of classrooms and school grounds and repainting of walls, ceilings

and other fixtures, the teams also donated copies of PDEA Comics to the schools for the

students to read during the school year. Copies were also given to the parents and students

who participated during the week-long activity of Brigada Eskwela.
