ALLOY PERFORMANCE DELTA Handheld XRF The DEL T A Line - Alloy Analyz er Performance At the forefront – the DELTA Premium (DP), with its industry-exclusive 30mm2 Ketek Silicon Drift Detector (SDD) and Rh-anode X-ray tube, continues to expand the capabilities of handheld XRF into applications once impossible with the technology, and now routine and common for the DELTA Premium HHXRF: Residuals analysis in ferrous alloys Sensitive analysis of aluminum (Al) alloys for magnesium (Mg) content Sulfur (S) quantication in in-service stainless steels The new standard in handheld XRF, the DELTA Standard (DS), outtted with a SDD (25mm2), provides excellent speed and LODs, in addition to some light-element analysis capabilities. The DEL TA Classic (DC) is built with the speed and rugged features character istic of the DELT A line. This high-tech, exible analyzer for typical XRF analysis is equipped with an Si PiN Detector. All DELTA units come standard with innovative features including a built-in accelerometer, hot swap batteries, and library grade match messaging. An optional integrated CMOS camera and small spot collimation is available, in addition to welding grade libraries. Both DELTA Premium and DELTA Standard analyzers include patent-pending automatic barometric pressure correction for accurate light element analysis in a wide range of environmental conditions. Testing timesfor DELTA Premium and DELTA Standard analyzers are 5 seconds for Beam 1 (for elements Ti and higher), and 30 seconds for Beam 2 (for elements Mg, Al, Si, S, and P). (Actual testingtimes in the eld are commonly shorter.) “+/-“ values shown represent analysis standard deviation, calculated as 1-sigma or 67% condence. Samples analyzed are certied referencematerials (CRMs).
