    Admission requirements Students must earn, within the summer exam session of the A.Y. 2019/20 (1/06/2020 - 27/06/2020), the credits required by the study plan for the first two

    years of the bachelor’s degree, successfully passing the exams envisaged. This requirement will not be needed at application stage, but it will be checked at the end of the summer exam session. Departures will only be guaranteed upon

    completion of this requirement.

    Attachments to be uploaded during application * compulsory

    o Identity document (identity card or passport)*; o CV in European format*; o Any language certificates;

    o Any self-certification of the exams taken, only if they have not yet been recorded in the record book at the time of application.

    Selection criteria The Commission shall evaluate the applications taking into account: o weighted average of the marks of the exams taken;

    o weighted average of the Chinese language exams taken; o experiences documented in the curriculum vitae.

    Other useful information Upon arrival at CNU, students are required to take an entrance test to determine

    their Chinese language proficiency. Depending on the test result, students may need to take an additional Chinese language course. The study plan may be

    subject to changes depending on the language level to which students are assigned. At the end of the third year of studies, students must pass the final exam

    required by Ca' Foscari as part of the three-year course of study. In consideration of the different academic calendars of the two Universities, students will only be able to graduate at Ca' Foscari starting from the autumn session.

    Students will then: - attend the fourth year (A.Y. 2021/22) at CNU, sitting the exams as part of a

    previously agreed course of study; - acquire Level 6 Chinese language HSK certificate (or equivalent); - complete the double degree programme by discussing a thesis at CNU, which

    must be written and discussed in Chinese. Ca' Foscari University undertakes to recognize the credits acquired at CNU during

    the fourth year of the course, for the purpose of possible enrolment to a master's degree of the Department of Studies on Asia and Mediterranean Africa, with credit recognition.

    Participants in the programme are offered financial support by the Beijing Municipal Authority (Beijing Municipal Foreign Students Scholarship) in the form

    of exemption from paying fees at the foreign University. If a student breaks the laws of the People's Republic of China or the regulations of the host University, the CNU International Students Office reserves the right not to grant the support

    and the student will have to pay the fees at CNU. Should the Beijing Municipal Authority, for reasons non depending on the University of origin, stop issuing the support, students undertake to pay the

    enrolment fees at both Universities. The support paid by the municipality of Beijing does not cover the administrative costs of submission of the application and registration with CNU, of approximately 800 RMB, which is due by the

    participants upon arrival at CNU.
