2019 NMI CHRISTMAS THANK YOU!

The NMI Council purchased special ornaments to decorate the Memory &

Honor Christmas Tree. This tree gave us the opportunity to remember

friends, family and loved-ones who are no longer with us this Christmas

Season.

Memories are made by the living, some placed an ornament in

honor expressing your love and gratitude for your loved one while they

are living.

A donation of $420.00 was sent to Nazarene Compassionate

Ministries Global Fund.

Wednesday evenings will follow the Kanawha Co. Schools decisions. 2019 YEAR END GIVING—Just a reminder that all funds to be included on the 2019 giving records for income tax deduction receipts must be turned into the church office by December 29th, for 2019 credit (or December 31st if using online giving). Consider giving an additional birthday/Christmas offering gift in honor of our Lord!

OUR CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION SERVICE will be Sunday, December 22, at 10:30 a.m. We will have Special Selections by our Choir along with traditional Christmas carol favorites with the Praise Team & Congregation followed by a special message by Pastor Randy Ledsome.

CHRISTMAS COMMUNION—You are invited to join us on Sunday, December 22nd, at 6:00 p.m. for a special Christmas Communion Service. A heart-stirring service of reflection, worship & thankfulness of Christ’s birth, death and resurrection! Everyone is welcome!

Children will meet in the River Kids Zone for popcorn, drinks and to watch the movie, “The Crippled Lamb”.

CHRISTMAS EVE CANDLELIGHT SERVICE—Everyone is welcome to gather with us on Christmas Eve at 10:00 p.m. for a special Candlelight Service. We will have special music and readings by Pastor Randy Ledsome. It will be a special night of reflection & worship.

LADIES NIGHT OUT—Join us at 6 p.m., Tuesday, January 7th, at Olive Garden. All ladies are welcome to attend! Sign up at the Welcome Center.

UPCOMING EVENTS

TONIGHT! OUR ALL CHURCH CHRISTMAS DINNER will be tonight at 5 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. The church will provide the turkey, ham, bread and drinks. Encouragers Class & children's teachers will bring salads (pasta/macaroni/potato/fruit/etc.) Firm Foundations class, youth teachers & office staff will bring vegetables, casseroles etc. The CIA class will bring desserts. Senior adult class will bring chips and dips. If you don't attend a specific class, please use the Following guide:

Age 18-40 Bring salads. Age 41--64 Bring Vegetables/Casseroles. Age 66 or older- Bring Dessert. Everyone should bring generous portions so that we have plenty of food for all!

RIVER & LIGHT COMPANY NEW YEAR’S EVE GATHERING—Everyone in their 20s-40s are invited to join us in the Fellowship Hall on New Year’s Eve from 8—10 p.m. for a special evening of

friendship and fun!

CHILDREN’S DEPT. DINNER & A MOVIE—All children age 3—5th grade are invited to join us in the River Kids Zone for “Happy New Year, Charlie Brown”, dinner and fun! Sign up on the Children’s Dept. bulletin board on the 2nd level! New Year’s Eve at 8 p.m.! Thank you to all who helped with our Chili & Coat Give Away and the Charleston Christmas Parade! Your help with these special outreach opportunities made a difference in people’s lives!

"Supper with Santa" was a huge success! Thank you Susan Ledsome and the Chil-dren’s Department for a tremendous outreach to our community. To all those who at-tended and invited, thank you! Merry Christmas!

Thanks to Diane Billings & Missions Council for participating in the Charleston Christ-mas Parade. The float was beautiful and the participation was great! Over 1500 items were distributed, another great outreach! Thanks to all who helped!
