Now that we are coming to the end of another year and looking back, I must say that 2014 was one of my favourites. Both for the company and myself. We achieved many of our goals and ventured into new areas that we did not even foresee at the start of the year.

I want to congratulate Willem Engelbrecht and his team of agents in the Gauteng area. Wow! At the previous Ghost meeting Willem said we must ‘watch this space’, and that he and his team prefer not to talk too much but rather SHOW. And you did!! Well done guys - and Michelle. You are inspiring agents everywhere.

As leadership, our focus in the second half of the year was the setting up of the Grand Marketing Strategy and getting all our legal contracts in order. This has meant that a lot of work has gone into the company that may not be so visible, but which will inevitably benefit everyone in the near future.

All the best to all of you waiting for your hard work of the year to pay off as new subscriptions and new leads for the new year. Every month agents are growing their recurring income. I want to thank you all for your hard work and especially your perseverance. We are pursuing a path more difficult than the mainstream, but we maintain that risk and reward are always linked. We’ve seen ample examples of risk taking culminating into rewards, both in our business and in our agents. So I would like to encourage you - never give up! Each small step takes you closer and closer to your dream.

(I think especially of you Trevor, who needs to juggle so many things at the moment. Be strong and keep it up. Continue putting in the work. We look forward to you becoming a full-time agent and agent manager!)

Thanks to my wonderful fellow Ghosts for your friendship and all your ideas and hard work during the year. Your leadership and character give infiniteEDGE its substance.

Enjoy a well earned holiday and come back prepared for an awesome 2015!

Condolences

Magda Vermeulen celebrated a very significant birthday on September 10! We wish her the very best for the years to come and thank her for her loyalty, hard work and unceasing enthusiasm!

How were you introduced to iE?

I have known Pieter-Francois for a little over 10 years. He had been working working on forexNOW for a long time and had told me about it.

After he created the first version of forexNOW, he visited my parents to show the product and share his dream of a company.

How have you grown in last year as an agent and personally?

As an agent I have learned exponentially more than previous years about the forex industry and I've been able to consistently bring in new clients where in previous years I was not able to. Personally, I have grown in my relationship with the Lord and my marriage has improved and I've become a super dad.

Agent profile

In an effort to personalize our company more, we want to introduce each agent and peek behind the curtain to get to know them better. It will hopefully also encourage better team work and lead to referrals between agents of different provinces. So first up we have Quintin Engelbrecht..

What do you do if not seeing clients?

I love camping, riding motorbikes, vegetable gardening, fishing and reading.

What do you enjoy most about being an agent?

I enjoy that I get to meet so many different top level people in some of the well-known and biggest companies in South Africa.

Biggest success so far?

Getting Airbus Helicopters on board as a client.

Tips for other agents?

* Competence creates confidence. Know what various financial products are available out there and how they relate to forexNOW. Don’t guess; educate yourself and know the facts.

* Partner with other agents for better results. Don't make your own appointments - have your fellow agents make appointments for you and vice versa. If someone else makes the appointment for you it creates the impression with your prospective client that you are higher up in the company and more on their level. FD's and CFO's don't want to deal with reps and agents, they want to do business with decision makers, so this tip creates the impression that you are a decision maker.

Favourite company why?

This is the key to successful business, marriage, family and friendships. A man's own ego is his worst enemy.

Funniest iE moment up to date?

Funniest moment was arriving at the office to find Willem Engelbrecht in the kitchen completely soaked through his clothing and all the walls and ceiling sprayed with water. He was installing a new basin and tap but there was no way to turn the water off first.

Goals

The statistics shown give a clear indication about the progress made thus far. We have reached and surpassed our first set of goals - congratulations! It hasn’t always been easy, but we have persisted and our efforts have resulted in a good increase. A sincere ‘Thank You’ to each and every one in the company who has done their part in us

attaining it. Now we need to focus our attention on reaching our second set of goals. Not only do we want to reach a company income of R720 000 with 80 subscribed clients, we also want to reach them in a shorter period than before. Join me in embracing these goals, continually seeking ways in which to actively pursue them.

Whys

“We take responsibility” is one of our WHYs that can truly set us apart in our industry and also in SA's business world. Have you phoned a big corporate company recently and always get transferred to someone new each time you call about the same issue... and then the line drops and you have to start from scratch? Companies have the most wonderful slogans: “We

want to help.” “We live to assist you.” “You are our ALL.” BUT when it comes down to getting things sorted out or for them to handle mistakes and overs ights , then the game changes.

One thing is sure: we will make mistakes. All of us. From leadership to agent managers to agents, and even our cool, calculated auto-SVEN has made his share. That is fine. The real test comes when we take responsibility for them and fix them quickly and efficiently. Acknowledge your mistake; say sorry to the right people; do what needs to be done, and then move on.

Finally: Taking full responsibility also applies to our own lives and goals. If you are not seeing the results that you want to see; if you are not as active an agent as you want to be; if you procrastinate on important deals; then change. The moment you start to take full responsibility for EVERYTHING that happens in your life you take back your power and start to really live. (Read up more in Brian Tracy’s book, GOALS!)

Admin matters

!Events

The second full house ghost meeting took place at the Western Cape office on November 1. We had a very productive session and discussed some vital aspects of the business and the way forward. The Ghosts feel happy and confident about the current growth of the company. If we can continue what we are doing now, we will continue to see exponential growth.

Pieter Francois has started giving bi-weekly training sessions to the Western Cape team.

Announcement

We are proud to announce that the official registration of our new company name has been successfully completed on August 4. We as a company are no longer using the name

ForexForever (Pty) Ltd, but instead, infiniteEDGE (Pty) Ltd.

Be sure to use only this new name, in every thing you do, say or write.

You might ask why we have changed it. We have experienced some resistance to the word ‘forex’ because of the mass

marketing of personal forex related products. We also sought a stronger, more inclusive name to accompany further development.

Sales tips

We have found that directing a potential new client to our website and showing them all our client logos work very well. Previously, we had to defend ourselves and the algorithm, and potential clients viewed us as a mere flash in the pan, but, all their skepticism disappears when you start off by showing them our client page. Start by introducing yourself, then the company and immediately afterwards show them our client page before you start with your presentation! This strategy works like a charm.

Important: don’t scroll through our subscribed company logos too fast. You may know them off by heart, but your prospects don’t - so, go slowly!

Development news

Great news! The much anticipated new 1 hour chart is now complete and will be made available to agents and their clients by March 2015.

We’re also in the process of generating a new auto installer which will make the Lucky Packet obsolete.

We are working on the design of the new flow chart, which proves to be harder work than anticipated. We have had many sessions with designers and ghosts in trying to make the new version as smooth and simple as possible. Once finished, we will have them printed and sent to you.

Pieter Francois has been playing around with a few new ideas to make the forexNOW algorithm even better and I will focus on this in 2015. Exciting stuff. The first tests are already looking very good.

New ideas

Willem Engelbrecht, Gauteng agent manager, has taken the lead in restructuring his team by employing some of the ideas suggested by Raymond Aaron’s book (Double your income doing what you love). This has made them to work like a well-oiled machine, which is quite evident when you look at the monthly Top Dogs Report. Well done!
