Grade 6 Honour Band

We have many grade 6 students interested

in the Honour Band program! Letters will be

handed out to all Grade six students this

week. Along with the usual sign up sheet,

students must take home this letter to par-

ents and bring back the bottom of the form

by December 20th. These students will re-

ceive their music before the holidays!! Stu-

dents may hand in forms until January

13th. If you have questions, please contact

Ms. Hastings at 845-2468 or by email.

Red Deer Kiwanis Festival

Gr. 7/8

Solos & Ensembles

We are expecting excellent participation

in the festival again this year. Students

have been signing up in class for solos and

ensembles. Forms have been sent home.

It would be best to have forms and fees

back by the end of December but they

will also be accepted the first week back

in January.

London Band

Music will be handed out

next week. Rehearsals will

be on Wednesdays as was

stated in the spring. Rehearsals will run

from 3:45—5:15 p.m.. In January we will

rehearse January 18th and January 25th.

Attendance is expected at all rehearsals.

Cold Weather Reminder

During inclement weather, please remind students to dress appropriately for weath-er conditions. Classes are often outside for various rea-

sons, as well as bus students need to be prepared in the event that busses may be running late or break downs.

Candy-Grams Candy-grams are on sale

from December 13th to

the 22th. They will be de-

livered the morning of December

23rd. They cost just 25 cents,

and will be sold at noon in the

student gathering area. All pro-

ceeds are going to Victim Ser-

vices. Send all your friends a

Christmas greeting!

Pioneer Classes have

challenged each other

to help those in need

at this time of year

by collecting Christmas Gifts and

money for 18 years and under in con-

junction with Santas Anonymous. The

winning class will receive pop and

pizza.
