NEWS UPDATE

Dear Parents,

Here is the latest from the NMS-DPS News Desk.

All the students have been given separate login ID and Password to use the school portal. This is in addition to the one given to their parents. The students will be able to communicate with their teachers and receive assignments and worksheets through the portal.

Kindly note the school will remain closed for Winter Break from Wednesday, 25th

December 2013 to Wednesday, 1st January 2014. Regular school timings will be followed on Thursday,2nd January,2014. We wish all our dear parents merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2014. May God bless you and all your family!

There will be no UCMAS classes on 28th December 2013 and 4th January 2014.

In Co-ordination with Brand Box and Malabar Gold our school will join the beach cleaning

campaign on Saturday, 28th December 2013. The selected participants are requested to

report to the school at 9:00 a.m. sharp for the dispersal to Manama Municipality. We

request the parents to drop the children to school and pick them at 1:30 p.m.

from the school.

In co-ordination with the Lions Club of Riffa we will be hosting Annual Essay and Painting competition in our school campus on Friday, 10th January 2014 from 3:00 p.m to 5:15

p.m. Kindly note the reporting time for registration is 2:00 p.m.

Annual Book Fair was organized for the students and parents from 19th to 22

nd December 2013. Various

books were displayed during the fair.

An assembly was conducted by the students of KG I E and F for the KG I and KG II to celebrate

Christmas. An assembly was conducted by grades I G & I H for the students of grades I & II. The theme for

the assembly was “Love and Kindness”. An assembly was conducted by grades III G, IV H, Lincoln and Mandela House for the students

of grades III to V to celebrate Christmas.

A Special Assembly was conducted by Mandela and Lincoln House for the students of grades VI to VIII to celebrate Christmas.

A Special Assembly was conducted by Mandela and Lincoln House for the students of grades IX to XII on the occasion of Christmas.

An Inter House Basket ball competition was conducted for the students of grades IX to XII. The result are as follows:
