Study Tour Programs (on-line)
DUELI On-line Course Details
• All EAP and General English classes have 4 hours of face to face teaching (using Zoom) and 1 hour of Independent Learning
• Students also use the Cloud Deakin as part of their on-line learning experience
• Class times are between 8.30 am and 4.30 pm
• All classes have a 2 hour break that includes 1 hour in the On-line Independent Learning Centre (ILC) that is supervised by our teachers
• There are 8-15 students per class (with an average of 12 per class)

DUELI On-line Classes
The DUELI On-line program enables teachers and students to work together anywhere in the world.
All students are given assistance to use the Deakin Cloud and Zoom prior to their Orientation program at Deakin
Teachers will send students an invitation to join their On-Line class before the start of each new intake.
Students are expected to maintain an overall attendance of 80-% or higher.
Students are expected to use English together in pairs, small groups and in individual class presentations.
Teachers will make sure that students are working with different students who will help to develop their communication skills and who will become their friends

• Cloud Deakin allows students to access material, videos and and work in discussions groups with their classmates
• All class tasks are available in the Cloud
• Completed classwork is uploaded into the assignment folder of Cloud Deakin for teachers to assess
DUELI On-line Independent Learning Centre (ILC)
All students will have access to our On-line Independent Learning Centre (ILC). Teachers will supervise these sessions
The On-line ILC includes:
• Conversation groups with teachers and fellow students
• Movie Discussion groups
• On-line Reading, Writing, Grammar and Listening Activities
• Individual help from our teachers
• Games that will help with speaking and pronunciation
DUELI On-line Study Tours
The DUELI Study Tour program is available for universities who are looking at integrated and individual programs for their students
Integrated programs allow students from universities to join our international students in an on-line class that matches their English level
Individual Programs provide universities and groups with an English program that matches their needs. Some examples of past programs include :
English+ Teacher Education, English + Nursing, English + Business, English+ Australia Studies
DUELI Blog
The DUELI Blog has a range of activities and information to support the On-line and On-Campus study experiences of students at DUELI.
The Blog includes information about :
• The Class Timetable• Classes• Student Support• Social Activities • The DUELI Club• Independent Learning Centre

DUELI Student Support
Students studying On-line are able to access the wide range of student support services available at DUELI and at Deakin.
If students need to meet with one of our Student Advisers they can arrange a confidential appointment via the DUELI Blog
DUELI Club
Students will be able to join a wide range of activities to support their English development and to meet other students.
Activities include:
• On-line Coffee Conversation catch up
• Cooking Classes
• Yoga On-line
• Deakin Active On-line fitness programs
• Stress buster programs
