Saaol, your own center, is gradually reaching more and more cities in India. In the last month Dr. Chhajer inaugurated three more centers of Saaol - Allahabad in UP, Vapi in G u j r a t a n d A m r i t s a r i n Punjab. Our viral videos on Internet and word of mouth are some of the ways that are spreading to the masses. People come to us because we remove the cause of heart disease, we treat with scientific logic and we do not allow people to invade the body. Almost 25% of our patients are those who have first relied on Bypass Surgery, Angioplasties - suffered and understood their temporary nature and come back to us after the surgery have failed. Saaol also keeps on changing according to time. We are open to all the options which are non invasive and good. We included

herbs and Ayurveda also and SAAOL ayurvedic product called “Cardiocure” is helping so many of our patients to reverse heart disease. Shortly we are coming with a “Heart Candy” - which is a combination of Apple Cider Vinegar, Ginger, Garlic, Lemon & Honey. All these are very much beneficial to heart patients and is from nature. Our Homeopathic product “Saaol Heart Drop” is ready and is waiting for the Government a p p r o v a l . We t r i e d t h i s homeopathic formulation on about 30 patients as a research study and got very good results. We are till now doing one treatment called Bio Chemical Angioplasty or BCA. This treatment was partly invasive as we needed to in t roduce a medicine cal led EDTA by intravenous route.

Saaol Times, July, 2018

This was invasive and the needle pricks were very painful. Then we imported the same chemical EDTA as a oral food supplement from USA. This bio chemical is now getting more and more popular as it does not need and puncture to the body. Studies have been done to show its bio availability as 90% plus by oral route. So, we got the approval of Oral EDTA from the Government of India as a food supplement. T h i s i s n o w c a l l e d “Cardioclean”. Soon we plan to withdraw BCA completely and get it replaced by Cardioclean - in all our centers in India and abroad. In the forth coming days we have six more centers to open and these a re - Jabbalpur

rdMangalore (Opening on 23 August) and Bareilly (opening

thdate on 27 August). The next center will be Aligarh in UP but the date has not been fixed yet. Two more centers in Maharastra are also in the future list - Solapur and Aurangabad. Dr. Chhajer will be visiting

thBangadesh on 27 July for a three day trip. Last month he was there in China for a meeting with the ECP manufactures. He delivered a Video-Audio talk from India to

thChicago, USA on 7 July in the Yo u n g J a i n ' s o f A m e r i c a Convention. In October he is scheduled to visit USA for two weeks to conduct a camp in Los Angelos center of Saaol. He will also attend a conference by “Americal College on Lifestyle Medicine” in Indianapolis from

Four main health p r o b l e m s o r i l l n e s s e s a r e reigning the whole

world today and all are related to our lifestyle. Like close cousins they are commonly found together. These diseases are Obesity, High Blood Pressure, Diabetes Mellitus and Coronary Heart Disease. Once one is present in one's life it helps to bring in the second or third or fourth disease. I met one obese person once. I told him “you are over weight - watch closely you may get Diabetes also”. He said he already have it. Then I told him “Be aware your blood pressure may be high”. His answer was that I am suffering from high BP. Then I observed that all the three cousin diseases are present and I told him to check for Heart disease. He said “that is why I have come to you - I get chest heaviness and breathlessness while I walk.” The next day, on my advice he went for CT Coronary Angiography - which confirmed that he had 80-90% block in heart arteries. These four diseases ( I am considering also Obesity as a disease) are now causing highest number of deaths in almost all the countries of the world. These disease’s and their complications lead to spending of billions of dollars across the world as they need continuous treatment with drugs and sometimes admissions and surgery. The health budget of countries, even in USA, is failing because of these chronic diseases.

But the beauty is that all these diseases are amenable to treatment by lifestyle management and education. 80% to 90% of these problems can be tackled by Stress management, e x e r c i s e s , e d u c a t i o n , h a b i t modification, diet and yoga.If the World Health Organisation (WHO) and major countries take proper initiative towards promoting these methods of treatment - this can not only reduce the burden of these diseases, cost of treatment but also give a logical and scientific way of solving these diseases for the masses. USA has already made it a rule that any hear t pat ient under thei r Government sponsored medicare i n s u r a n c e p o l i c y - c a n t a k e reimbursement of Dr. Dean Ornish's lifestyle based heart disease reversal program. We also expect Indian Government also to follow this example and allow Saaol's lifestyle t r e a t m e n t t o b e p a i d b y t h e Government. I request all our readers, w h o a r e c o n n e c t e d t o t h e Government, to use their good offices to convince the authorities about the same. If you call us in this regard we shall be more than happy to co operate with you. S a a o l c o m b i n e s M e d i c a l management of this disease with lifestyle - and this is the uniqueness of our treatment program.We then try to reduce the dosage of the medicines once the p a t i e n t s improve.

The Amount of Glucose in the Carbohydrates:

Like the fastness or slowness of Carbohydrate foods - another very important factor that the diabetic patient must know is the Amount of Glucose content of any food. Medically this can be called Glycemic Load(GL). Vegetables and fruits usually have less Amount of Glucose compared to Cereals and have low GL. For example, 100 gm of Water melon has 4 grams of glucose where as 100 gram of boiled rice has 20grms of glucose. In this way rice will provide five times more Glucose to the body compared to the same amount of Watermelon. But when we consider their fast/slowness they have the same Glycemic index (GI 72 for both). Both will reach the blood stream

very quickly and not good for Diabetics. If we combine both the arguments than Boiled rice is five t imes wor se fo r d i abe t i c s compared to Water melon. In the same example, if we consider 100 gram of Cauliflower - it is one of the slowest food to reach blood (GI no. 6 compared to 72 of both Boiled Rice and Watermelon.) The speed to reach the blood is 12 times lower as c o m p e t e d t o R i c e a n d Watermelon. It also has a very low amount of Glucose . The Glucose Load (GL) is 8 times less than water melon and 40 times less than Boiled rice. We are also providing you with a chart of most common Carbohydrate foods with the Amount of Glucose or Glycemic Load for your reference.

My wife underwent a Bypass surgery some four years ago in a prominent hospital in Delhi under a CGHS panel. But she never become comfortable there after. After three years of operation due t o h e r A n g i n a a n o t h e r Angiography was done which w a s f o l l o w e d b y s t e n t implantation in another private hospital under the CGHS panel. This also flopped. We performed a TMT on April 27, 2018 which showed Positive. This meant that the blockage has come back. When we were advised another Angiography for the third time we remembered the pain of angiography and opted for Saaol treatment. My wife has already completed 35 sittings of ECP/Natural Bypass, BCA and feeling as normal as we were long before surgery. We attended the camp by Dr. B ima l Chha je r wh ich explained about the diet, stress management, do's and don'ts for a

heart patients. We are completely satisfied with the treatment. In my view the treatment of Saaol which is comparatively cheaper and safe and fully scientific. If it is allowed by the Government by the CGHS everybody will gain. I beleive at least 50% of the patients who are advised Bypass Surgery or Angioplasty will shift to Saaol treatment. Government employees/retired employees are entitled to all medical facilities including heart surgery which is risky, expensive and uncertain also. I r e co mme n d t h e C e n t r a l G o v e r n m e n t a n d s t a t e Government to approve this treatment. Saaol has about 70 centers across India and abroad and can reach the masses. Its lifestyle reversal program is also very much valid for normal people, heart patients who can prevent future problems with the heart.

Carbohydrates are basically mega units of Glucose bound together by connecting bars called bonds. During the process of digestion the enzymes of the gut dissolve these bars to release glucose from these mega units. These free glucose molecules are now absorbed from the small intestine to the blood. The Carbohydrates have different structures - some can be easily broken down into glucose which reach the blood stream very

fast. These can be called Fast carbohydrates or simple carbohydrates. To release one unit of glucose only one bond needs to be broken - thus it takes very little time to release glucose to the blood stream. On the other hand, some carbohydrates are called Complex Carbohydrates where to release one molecule of Glucose more bonds have to be broken. Thus it takes longer time. These Carbohydrates can be called slow Carbohydrates.

In patients with Diabetes, because of less Insulin glucose entry into the cells of the body is slowed down. Where as in a normal person it takes about an hour for the Insulin to lower the b l o o d glucose, it may take 3-4 hours f o r t h e d i a b e t e s patients. If we use s i m p l e c o m m o n sense for d i a b e t e s pa t ien ts , where the insulin is deficient or less effective to remove glucose from the blood, slow carbohydrates are better to eat. The fast carbohydrates, on the other hand, are bad for diabetes patients as they reach the blood

stream very quickly. All the carbohydrate foods have been studied by the modern medical science for this fastness or slowness and have been allotted a

number - t h i s i s c a l l e d Glycemic Index(GI). The less t h e Glycemic Index the slower the f o o d i s . H i g h Glycemic I n d e x means the f o o d i s

very fast to get digested by our gut. This will raise the blood glucose in no time. We are presenting all the common carbohydrate foods and t he i r GI number s fo r you r reference.

Saaol Times, July, 2018 7

Diet is the main stream to control Blood g lucose ( sugar ) for diabetes patients. Then comes Walk, Yoga, Stress Management, Weigh t r educ t ion , r egu la r mon i to r ing and l a s t ly the medicines from different streams of medical science - allopathy, herbs/Ayurveda. Before we go to the details of the diet program for reversing Diabetes let us be very clear that the blood glucose level is mainly gove rned by foods ca l l ed Carbohydrates and Insulin. Carbohydrates are the foods w h i c h b r e a k s u p i n t h e stomach/intestine into glucose where from the glucose is

absorbed in the blood. The job of Insulin, a chemical/hormone secreted by the Pancreas, is to remove the glucose from the blood by facilitating their entry into numerous cells of the body. So, when we try to understand the diet plan for diabetes we must consider all of the following -

the concept of fast and slow Carbohydrates, the amount of Glucose in the foods, the weight loss foods and the additives which can help diabetes. The truth is “If you understand Diabetes completely, apply your common sense you are on the path of reversal”.
