• Q1…...Hydrogen Hydrogen The sun converts 700 million tonnes of hydrogen into helium every second. "I'm more than 90% of the universe" Hydrogen atoms are everywhere. You find them in water (H20), which is made up of two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom. It is found in the sun and most stars and it is the building block of the universe. In a May 1957, a hydrogen bomb was tested on Christmas Island in the South Pacific. "I could be the fuel of the future" It's more efficient than petrol and it doesn't pollute the environment because the waste product is water, not carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases.
