Job / Ad Posting
• Client Requirement:
Place ads found in different ad-sites in his own
website.( E.g jobs.lk, topjobs.lk )
• How We Worked:
I searched the jobs posted in several sectors like Software, Accounting, Law/Legal and I got the images from that site. I typed the data present in that image into a word document and I copied the matter and posted that to the client’s website which is www.career.lk.

Social Network Data Mining
• Client Requirements: Client created one group in LinkedIn website and added me to that group. He wanted me to collect the data of group members. Data contains joined date, last name, first name, working company, residing address i.e., city, state, country, phone number (if had), mail id, LinkedIn URL, company website, twitter account.
• How We Worked: I searched the members based on joined data, collected the data and place it in Excel.

Webpage Photo Uploading
• Client Requirements: He gave his website in which he wants the photos uploaded to the site. He wants the photos to be searched in different site like Google, Yahoo,Bing, etc., and he asked me to upload those photos in his sites like: Wishglam and Starhorn.
• How We Worked: I searched the photos available in several sectors like celebrations; movie makings,etc and I got the images from that site. I edited the photos if there are any logo marks on that photo and then I uploaded the photos to the client’s website.

Data Form Conversion
• Client Requirements: He gave images contains some text matter that should be converted to word document.
• How We Worked: For few images I typed normally to the word document. For remaining I used a image to word conversion software called ABBY Fine Reader
• ABBY Fine Reader: Software which can convert one format(pdf/image) to another(word/excel).

Identity Data Mining
• Client Requirements:
He asked to prepare the list of doctors general practitioners from New South Wales Australia from www.yellowpages.com.au.
• How We Worked:
I searched from www.yellowpages.com.au and prepared a list of doctors.

Email Data Mining
• Client Requirements: He gave a URL: http://technorati.com/blogs/directory/technology/ Having blogs from that blog, client asked me to gather mail IDs
• How We Worked: I searched from http://technorati.com/blogs/directory/technology/ in related blogs and gathered mail IDs and put in a spreadsheet.

Ecommerce website product upload & updates (Magneto)
• Client Requirements:
A client asked me to edit, add and upload products to his site www.transfashions.com. He gave the manufacturer’s sites like www.drogisterij.net and asked me to copy the products description, price, and the photo which was there. And then add that content to his site from back end administration.
• How We Worked:
I searched from www.drogisterij.net copied all the details of the products and the photo which was there and then the photo needs to be adjusted as per client’s requirement. That is client asked the photo must be of 650x650 pixels. So for this I used the Photoshop to increase the size of the photo. And then added the images to the site.
