ManagementDevelopmentInstitute

June 01-03, 2016MDI Campus, Gurgaon

Today, companies are able to effectively organize, analyze and interpret the enormous amount of data and act tremendously on market dynamics for increasing their competitive advantage. The critical component of any corporation’s strategy to analyze and organize volumes of data is the data warehouse. The strength of the data warehouse is its organization and delivery of information, in support of the management’s decisions making processes. The data warehouse is a physical implementation of relational or multidimensional decision support models which gives your enterprise the information it needs to make strategic decisions. This transformation of data into meaningful information, allows employees to perform more substantive, accurate, and consistent analysis. The data warehouse equips users with more effective decision support tools by integrating enterprise-wise corporate data into a single repository from which business end-users can perform data analysis and generate reports. Signiicant cost beneits, time savings, and productivity gains result from using a data warehouse for data processing, freeing information technology staff and other resources. Decisions are made more quickly and with greater conidence, because the data is both timely and accurate. Information is consolidated into meaningful categories speciied by users, and trends can be analyzed and predicted using historical data. Data warehouse ensures that everyone is using the same data at the same level of extraction, which eliminates conlicting analytical results and arguments over the source and quality of data. The data warehouse enables information processing using analytical tools such as data mining, OALP, optimization, simulation to be done in a reliable and eficient manner. The program emphasis will be analysis of data which is stored in data warehouse or using Big Data Technology.
