The tenacious Tania believes the only thing stopping people from reaching the success they crave, is their own self-doubt.

Entrepreneurship is one of the most powerful self-development journeys on which anyone can embark. When you couple a success mindset with powerful masterminding, insightful mentoring and taking actionamazing things happen, even when at times the hurdles seem impossible to leap.

Tania understands this first hand. After years of living and working abroad, winning numerous international awards and building a successful executive career, Tania tamed her wandering soul and returned to Australia in 1999 to start a family. Within 5 years of leaving the jet-setting corporate world, Tania buried her baby boy, gave birth to two healthy daughters, became the sole provider for her family, experienced escalating credit card debt and was served home repossession papers.

An unstinting faith in her own ability, coupled with a hefty dose of courage, propelled Tania

to take a huge leap towards entrepreneurship. Her creative communication ideas have led to over $5 million in media coverage for both herself and her clients.

PLAYING TRUTH OR DARE. When you were a child, did you ever play truth or dare? I did. In fact, I still play it today; although, the rules have changed. Now, its a solo game where I look within and ask with love, 'what is my truth?. Then, I dare myself to share it with open arms. It hasnt always been pretty. My life is a rich tapestry of chaos and perfection. But through all the heartache and tears, tantrums and gifts poorly wrapped, Ive also laughed so hard my cheeks hurt, run the race of my life, wept tears of joy, loved with my whole heart and given everything Ive got. Its been a spectacular journey during which I've discovered unwavering courage, passion and persistence. These days, I also dare others to be brilliant now instead of hoping to be so tomorrow." -Julie-Anne Black Mind Mastery and Body Language Maverick Melbourne, www.BeBrilliantNow.com

To take full advantage of social opportunity, or what I FDOO6RFLDOWXQLW\TM, you must be willing to:

1 Get on the phone daily and talk to strangers. I call it my 5 x 5 rule. Ive been doing this for over 20 years. Call 5 people a day, 5 days per week. If you do more than that, great, the key is to pick up the phone and start talking to people

that you think might help propel you to another level. Call people you have met on social networks; start by asking how you can help them.

2Dont over automate your social media experience. Get on WKHUH/,9(&KHFNin; answer questions; be social. Dont let the noise of others opinions drown out your inner voice, counselled Steve Jobs as he dared to follow his own advice and listen to his intuition. He did what others thought could not be done; he innovated beyond expectation; he disregarded naysayers and succeeded in revolutionising technology and mobile computing. Steve dared to bite into the forbidden fruit, and his vision blossomed into iMacs, iPods, iPads, iPhones and other technological advances that changed our world.

Steve Jobs life, his achievements and his eccentricities have been explored in a host of articles, obituaries, books and the newly released authorised biography by Walter Isaacson. We know he was a focused, determined, often ruthless perfectionist who captivated crowds with his innovative concepts. He never doubted himself and was always learning from his many, and often very public, mistakes. His strong will and his faith in the power of the will to bend reality brought him exceptional success, and we can all learn a few lessons from this self-titled enlightened luminary.

Top 10 lessons learned from Stevedare to...

1 Love what you do. Steve told the Stanford graduating class of 1985 that the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do.

2 Dont settle. If you havent found it (what you love to do) yet, keep looking, Steve counselled the Stanford grads. Dont settle.

3 Approach everything with an open mind. Steve advocated a Buddhist principle called the Beginners mind; he tried to approach everything with an open mind and embrace every experience is if it was the first time. Much of what Id stumbled into by following my curiosity and intuition turned out to be priceless later on, he said.

4 Be different. Better to be a pirate than to join the navy, lectured Steve. dare to stand out; dare to be different; dare to innovate. Innovation distinguishes a leader from a follower, said Steve.

5Trust yourself. Steve exemplified entrepreneurialism. He dared to

follow his heart and his intuition; he didnt use focus groups or market research to make his decisions, he trusted his gut!

6Say no. Stay focused. Steve told others to say no to 1,000 things to make sure you dont get on the wrong track or try to do too much.

7 Embrace every opportunity. Make the most of every situation. Learn from what Steve said about being humiliatingly dismissed from Apple: Getting fired from Apple was the best thing that could have ever happened to me. The heaviness of being successful was replaced by the lightness of being a beginner again, and less sure about everything. It freed me to enter one of the most creative periods of my life.

8 Keep going. If you do something and it turns out pretty good, you should go out and do something else wonderful. Dont dwell on it for too long, just figure out whats next.

9 Live your own life and think your own thoughts. Your time is limited, cautioned Steve, so XX

The Reboot Your Life program recommends consuming only fruit and vegetable juice for short periods of time. If you want to juice for extended periods, make sure you consult your health practitioner, as juicing exclusively is not suitable for all people.

During our interview, Joe revealed that the human body isnt designed to eat as much food for as long as we do. I believe we are designed to have a break. We come from an earth where there has been famine and feast. We have forgotten to create our own famines. All the big religions have fasting in them; its for a reason. If you can create a nutritional famine by, for example, drinking juice, then your body will respond and youll experience incredible results.

1 A bucket load of goodness in one glass On a juice feast, there are typically between 6-7 serves of fruits or vegetables in each glass, depending on the fluid content of the individual ingredients. For example, an orange contains a lot more juice per serve than spinach. By drinking the recommended 4-6 juices per day, youre getting 24-42 serves of fresh fruits and vegetables each day. Thats a bucket load of goodness.

2 Not all juices are created equal While any juice is beneficial, green vegetable juices contain especially important and unique phytonutrients. However, its also important that you try to get a rainbow of colourful vegetables and fruits throughout your day for the full spectrum of health promoting micronutrients.

3 Fresh is best If you buy fruits and vegetables that are out of season, it means they have been in cold storage or imported from overseas or another state. The shorter the time

it takes for a fruit or vegetable to get from the ground to your glass, the more nutrients for your body. Try to make it to your local farmers market. Seasonal produce is typically cheaper and thats when theyre plentiful, ripe, most

    nutritious and ready to eat.

4 Suck it up Juicing is an easy way to flood your body with the goodness of a bucket load of fruits and vegetables. Juices are much more easily absorbed and digested by our bodies than whole foods.

5 Good sugar While commercially packaged fruit juices can be high in sugar and are

often avoided by people with diabetes or blood sugar issues, natural sugar from fresh fruit and its juice is a very different quality of sugar than the processed sugar in juices or what you put in your coffee. Freshly squeezed fruit juices also contain a broad range of other nutrients including vitamin C, folate, potassium, antioxidants and soluble fibre which helps slow the absorption rate of sugar.

At 16 when most of my friends were interested in guys, shopping and university options, I had only one burning desireto travel overseas. With steely conviction I left school, embarked on several job changes until, at the age of 19, I boarded the 24 hour flight from Perth to London. Returning home at 21, following a 6 month stint backpacking throughout the continent, I knew my future lay in Europe. So just prior to my 22nd birthday I met a Dutchman who invited me to visit him in Amsterdam; I jumped at the chance. With less than $13 in the bank, I sold everything I owned and purchased a one-way ticket to Amsterdam for what I anticipated would be a 3 month trip. I returned to live in Australia 10 years later.

MANY ENTREPRENEURS WOULD BE CONTENT TO PLAY IT SAFE with one successful business - Deborah is not one of them. After 12 years of helping people improve the quality of their lives through external changes in their environment and Healing the Planet One Space at a Time, Deborah acted on her belief that security comes from NOT playing it safe; she decided to change direction to help people improve their lives by turning inward. She remains committed to a bold vision of shaking things up.

TANIA: In our society, the topics of sex and sensuality are often hidden or taboo. Do you think this has resulted in many women becoming disconnected with the sensual side of themselves?DEBORAH: Absolutely. We have clues from when we are children of what we are excited about or what fascinates us. From a very young age, I was interested in sex. I didnt know what that was in adult language, but I knew that there was an energy around it, and there was something about that whole subject matter that fascinated me.

I was also very interested in my room, how it felt, where I put my toys and what colours were in it.

Of course, women have been running households for centuries; now, theyre running global organisations and countries. 6RZKLOHZRPHQDUHWDNLQJRQPRUH

we lack role models for doing so in ways that keep us connected with our sensuality. My mission is to help women live below their neck.

This centres around the distinction between masculine and feminine qualities. Theyre not gender. Male and female are gender. Masculine and feminine are qualities that everybody male or female has in their own makeup, in their expression, in their energy.

Masculine energy is very single focused. Its pointed; its directed; its incredibly forceful and knows how to stay focused on its mission.

Feminine energy is also incredibly powerful, and its energy is in constant motion. I call it octopus brain. I can be looking over at something on the left knowing that theres another

Consider the wind that is making that happen; that is sexual energy. Its the same thing as life force. It is Mother Nature.

    I have hummingbirds outside my window which have a daily connection with a particular tree. They are combining their life force and their sexual energy with this tree. This sexual energy is outside my window;

its outside your window; its the ocean lapping at the shore.

When we disconnect ourselves from this energy because, for whatever reason, we havent had good conversations about sexuality growing up, we become disassociated from this life force. We literally cut ourselves off from our internal power source.

Because of adult fears or misconceptions, society, culture or religion, sensual-related issues are often kept in the closet.

Why is this happening? It is not completely understood why or how this unusual condition is becoming so common in women around the world. Research indicates three likely contributing factors:Stress. Adrenal glands make stress hormonesand testosterone. When womens adrenal glands work overtime to help manage stress, they also make excess testosterone.High carbohydrate diets. High carbohydrate foods raise the level of insulin in the blood. Insulin and testosterone are inextricably linked to each other, so high carb diets may cause elevated levels of testosterone. Former years have seen increases in personal wealth (or the illusion of it) with rises in share markets and property prices, but 2011 saw flat property, climbing unemployment, business failures and awful interest rates. Were mostly looking forward to looking backwards on this year!

Considering that the Australian festive holiday season (regardless of your religious beliefs) originally claimed to be all about Jesus, we can always assert that we are following biblical precedent when we are frugal at Christmas.

Consider that 2000 years ago, according to tradition, God gave the world a small baby who was destined to be the saviour of the world. God did not send Rambo or Chuck Norris to save the Jewish people from Roman slavery, nor did he give a billion buckets of gold. The baby in a manger was a seedling gift of hope.

CHRISTMAS PRESENCE: Giving someone your time is a very valuable thing, and memories last a long time. You could

give a couple the gift of a night off by babysitting their kids, or you could pack a picnic basket for a single friend to have an afternoon together chatting and drinking wine in an unusual location. Most mums would love an hour of housework done while they relax in the bath, and dad would love for his car to be cleaned or his shed tidied.

  • A s a young girl I read two remarkable stories that shaped my perspective of the world.

The first was about an isolated young girl unable to communicate. Her unrelenting determination enabled her to break free of her physical challenges to become a world-famous speaker, anti-war activist and womens suffrage campaigner. Helen Kellers courage taught me that you can achieve anything.

The second story of four sisters introduced me to the power of women, romance, heartbreak, self-discovery, death, love, betrayal, poverty and dreaming big. Louisa May Alcotts, Little Women revealed that all life experiences, whether good or bad, become entwined to make up the rich tapestry of life.

As 2011 draws to a close take time to reflect on your inner strength, courage and determination. As you prepare for a new year, follow your heart, look inwards and trust your instincts to illuminate your way forward.

Enjoy the journey and remember to live boldly.
