    1.01 DESCRIPTION

    A. General:

    1. Furnish all labour, materials, tools, equipment, and services for all air handling units as NotedCarrier scope covers only supply of HVAC

    equipments

    indicated on the drawings and in accord with provisions of Contract Documents.

    2. Completely co-ordinate with work of all other trades. By installation contractor

    PART 2 - PRODUCTS

    2.01 AIR HANDLING UNITS

    A. Air handling units: Motor, adjustable drive, fan sections, coil sections, access sections and CompliedMotor size over 11 KW will be provided with fixed

    pulley, however, pulley can be replaced to adjust

    the air flow

    2.05 STEAM HUMIDIFIER Not included in carrier scope of supply

    Steam humidifier shall be provided for humidity control with duct distribution package

    electronically controlled.

    1.The humidifier shall be capable of generating steam from ordinary tap water, and shall

    be UL listed.

    2.The humidifier shall have full modulating control from 0 to 100 percent capacity.

    3.The humidifier shall incorporate an electronic timer to control the water drain cycle

    which will evacuate minerals and particles. Automatic drain cycle shall be adjustable

    with a drain duration range and a drain interval range.

    4.The humidifier fill line shall have an air gap to prevent back-flow of contaminated water

    into the water supply system.

    5.The humidifier shall be equipped with stainless steel steam dispersion tube(s) to

    provide uniform steam distribution over the entire tube length which shall adequately

    span the widest duct dimension at installation point.

    6.The humidifier shall be supplied with a solid state electronic sensor controller

    (humidistat) capable of fully modulating the steam flow and with high limit humidistat.

    7.The humidifier shall be installed in strict accordance with equipment manufacturer

    recommendations and shall be connected to nearest water supply, and to nearest floordrain.

    2.06 AHU SERVING COMPUTER AREA Not included in Carrier scope of supply

    A.AHU serving computer area shall be connected to both main chilled water loop and 24-hour

    loop, by two sets of motorised shut-off valves.

    B.Normally the AHU will be served by the 24-hour loop, but in case of emergency it shall be

    served automatically (via BMS) by the main loop.

    C.The AHU shall be equipped with high efficiency type air filter of not less than 65% efficiency,

    and a pre-filter of not less than 20% efficiency.

    PART 3 - EXECUTION By installation contractor

    3.01 INSTALLATION

    A.Install as indicated and in accord with manufacturer's recommendations and instructions.

    B.Provide drain line from AHU to nearest floor drain or as indicated.
