A Message From 2014 -2015 Lt. Governor

Hey Penguins! As summer ends, the new school year starts. Meaning it's time for the new club

year to begin! Remember to utilize the MANY resources for Club Rush, Membership Recruitment and Membership Retention that can be found on our CNH CyberKey. Don't forget to get all the school forms in by time for the start of the new year and to establish all grounds with the board and prepare for the

new club season! Seeing you all come out to the OTC in July was truly a pleasure. And I'm hoping to see you all at the Leadership Training Conference

on August 23rd! With the new school year beginning, please remember to prioritize and don't stress out too much! Education and Family do come first, but always remember to CELEBRATE this new school season and advertise RTC and

FALL RALLY to all the new students! Which leads into my challenge of the month... try to aim for 30 new students to sign up for the club during your

campus's Club Rush (don't forget to include our lovely Kiwanis)! Take some time to organize for the new year. Hope to see you all soon! Until then, stay

BEEautiful! Yours in Service ,

Ashley Chen

A Message From 2014 - 2015 Newsletter Editor

Hello Key Clubbers! I am your new newsletter editor for the 2014 – 2015 term. I am super exited to

BEE - I stole that joke from Ashley - a part of your DLT and I hope to make you all

proud with my newsletter. I have been a part of Key Club from the time I was in

middle school and have been waddling with service ever since. I look forward to getting to meet all of you and feel free to tell me what I can do better with the

newsletter. Yours truly,

I have been to nearly every OTC since I joined Key Club, but this year was actually the first I had been given the opportunity to present to my fellow penguins! Being able to inform officers and members where Key Club had started along with our district’s goals for the year actually made me feel more knowledgeable and proud of the program I was putting all my time and effort into. The workshops encouraged me to work even harder than what I had already been doing in order for me to reach my own goals. Even better, the icebreakers and pie fundraiser pulled the division closer together. I got the chance to meet new people and connect with those of the same position; exchanging ideas and plans for the year so that we can both improve our home clubs. Attending OTC has given me a better understanding in my position as VP and I know now the unlimited potential my club has to grow. I am super excited to see what my last year of Key Club has in store for me. My passion for this club seems to never come to an end. :-) ------ Nicole Mai, Eleanor Roosevelt

My experience at the Riverside Beautification event was beneficial, rewarding, and fun. Several organizations and families came together to help clean up a park in Riverside. At the event it felt good to know that people were working together to clean up an environment. Everyone from little children to adults came to help out, so we could make a positive difference. Overall, the event was magnificent. I cannot wait to keep volunteering for several events, throughout the year! ---- Eric Stout, Eleanor Roosevelt
