Thorough knowledge and understanding of the Construction Design & Management Regulations 2015, through daily implementation and seminars. I have worked on a number of construction projects of varying size; from low value, new build, ground up construction projects at £10 million and under to a portfolio of large new build and refurbishment projects; involved with upgrading electrical power supply in North of Scotland totalling £1.5 billion. I have practical experience of corrective & preventative actions in a range of environments covering heavy civils, ground up construction, utilities and nuclear. During this time I positively manage ongoing culture change within Health & Safety and in relation to Accident Frequency rates. I strive to achieve “target zero” within any organisation I am employed by. I have the ability and experience to liaise effectively across all levels of an organisation, from presentation at board meeting level to conveying safety related information and inductions to site operatives. My MSc Thesis was based upon Behaviour Based Safety; something I am actively involved in on my current project. I have set up and led our BBS programmes in current and previous roles; along with gaining in depth knowledge, experience and presentation skills to deliver BBS across numerous sectors. Comfortable and confident delivering a BBS programme which has been approved by Cambridge Brookes University with third party accreditations.
