The Evolution CTR Tubing Rotator was developedas part of a system primarily designed to extend thelife of production tubing in beam pumping and PCpumping wells.

Using a Tubing Rotator can extend the life ofdownhole tubing by up to ten times in certaincircumstances; by equalizing the tubing wear aroundthe entire ID of the tubing instead of wearing through

in a single spot.

Drive Options

Evolution Oil Tools CTR Tubing Rotators are available with three (3) drive options:

Manual DriveThe Manual Drive System allows the operator to rotate the tubing string on a periodic basis (typicallydaily or weekly). This system is typically used with progressive cavity pumps.

Mechanical DriveThe Mechanical Drive System is used with pump jacks. This system can be set up to allow forapproximately one revolution of the tubing in a 24 hour period.

Electric DriveThe Electrical Drive System is used with progressive cavity pumps that have an electrical surface drive.

The drive system is run by an explosion-proof 220V motor. This system rotates the tubing stringapproximately two times during a 24 hour period.

InstallationProcedures

1 Remove Catch Dogs and O-Ring from Mandrel. Screw

Mandrel into Tubing

Hanger*.

Note

These items are not included with thesale of a CTR Tubing Rotator.

Tubing hanger may not be exactly asshown.

2 Insert Mandrel/HangerAssembly into Wellhead.

3 Lower CTR Rotator ontoWellhead.

Note Use RX Ring if Hanger sits flush with

Wellhead. If Hanger is recessed, usestandard R-Ring.

4 Screw Handling Sub intoMandrel.

5 Pick up on Handling Sub andUnseat Hanger.

6 Install Catch Dogs andRetaining Ring.

7 Lower Mandrel/HangerAssembly so Catch Dogs

take the weight.
