STUDENT BANKING If your child has collected 10 Dollarmites tokens and would like to redeem them for a School Banking reward item this term, please fill in your child’s redemption slip and bring it along to one of our School Banking days before 7th December. This will ensure the reward item will arrive before the school holidays. Our final School Banking day for 2018 is Tuesday 11th December. Any Dollarmites tokens that are not redeemed this year can be used in 2019.
LAMB VISITED THE STUDENTS
The Mitchell Family surprised us with a visit of the newest edition to their family, a baby lamb called “Floppy”. The students were able to have a little pat of him. For some of our students it was the first time they had ever been near a lamb. Thank you Jasmah for bringing Floppy in.
IMPORTANT OFFICE INFORMATION
It has been brought to our attention that a few parents are wishing to pay for fee’s, excursion in advance.
You are able to pay for future payments in advance at our website:

If you have not used this payment method previously you can go to our website and click on the $ Make a Payment Icon as shown below.
From here it takes you through a number of screens to complete your child’s details, your card details, and then sections to complete according to which items you are paying for.
You can pay for multiple students and items in the one transaction.
Or you can come into the office and pay in cash if you prefer. It will be held in the system against your child’s name as “Fee’s in Advance Payments” .

29/1/19—Staff Return– Pupil Free
Staff will be getting ready for the new year ahead. Office will be open for uniforms, Book packs or enquiries.
Book Packs will be $65.OO each and will be forwarded onto class teacher once purchased.
Uniform Prices for 2019
Shirts—$20.00 same shirt all week
Jackets—$35.00
Track Pants—$20.00
Hats or Beanies—$10.00
Shorts, Culottes or skirts must be royal blue in colour and can be purchased from Best and Less, Kmart, Big W, Target.
Shoes—Must be covered in shoes like joggers or similar (good for running)

01/02/19—Kindergarten Start School
School hours 9am—2.50pm
8.30am Supervision of students in playground.
9.00am School Starts assemble in the undercover area in class lines.
Recess 11am—11.30am students are asked to sit in the undercover area to eat their recess before being instructed by teacher to go play.
Lunch 1pm—1.40pm students are asked to sit in the undercover area to eat their lunch before being instructed by teacher to go play.
Finish of school Day at 2.50pm ready for buses.
Transport to and from school and drop off zones.
A lot of our students travel by bus to school. To see if your eligible for free school bus travel call 131 500 or apply on line at : transportnsw.info/school-students
You will need to tell them your home address and the bus company your child needs to travel with between home and school.
The only bus company that comes to our school is SINGH’S BUSES and they can be contacted on 0266 727 464 if you need to check for connecting bus times and companies.
PRESENTATION DAY
Our Presentation Day will be held on Friday the 14th December, commencing at 9.15am in the School Hall.
Everyone is welcome to attend. The award ceremony will include performance from each class.
Following the award ceremony there will be the cutting of the Year 6 cake.
P&C will be providing morning tea for adults in the Year 5/6 Classroom.
The P&Cs AGM will commence at 11.30am. All positions will become vacant and need to be voted in for our 2019 committee. To be eligible for voting you will need to pay a $1.00 fee. Everyone is encouraged to attend.
END OF YEAR REWARD PARY
On the 18th December the whole school will be traveling by bus to Tweed City to see a movie.
Students must be in full school uniform and need to bring their recess, fruit snack and water. The cost is $20 per student or $35 per family.
We will be returning to school in time for lunch. The canteen will have a meal deal available for purchase. $5.00 Sausage Sizzle and Snow Cone. The order form will come out next Monday.
KIDS IN THE KITCHEN
The whole school will be taking part in the next Kids in the Kitchen cooking class on the 11th December. Sally, Bec, Robyne and Renae have some wonderful treats planned.
YEAR 6 FAREWELL DAY
Our Year 6 students will be going Ten Pin Bowling at Tweed Heads on the 17th December with Mrs McRae and Mrs Lasker as their last farewell to Crystal Creek School. Please return your permission note to the office by Friday 10th December.
