Here on the Cozi home page, you can see news, your calendar, To Do lists, and everything else! From the navigation bar on the left, you can access the pages dedicated to calendar, To Do, Shopping lists, Meal planner, Messages, Journal, and settings.

Cozi Calendar

Here on the calendar page, you can see a full screen view of your calendar, select which way you would like to view it (Day/Week/Month) and add appointments and events with ease.

Cozi To Do

On the Cozi To Do screen you can organize multiple To Do lists. There are options on the top to have your list printed or send them as a text message. Also, the “Tips” menu item tells you about interesting things you can do.

Cozi Shopping Lists

With the “Shopping” heading, you can create multiple grocery lists. I find this particularly useful because I shop at multiple grocery stores. Like the To Do lists, you can print and text message your lists.

Cozi Meals

On the Meals screen, you can add recipes and plan your dinners out. This is helpful with my family as there is always so much going on that it’s easier if I know at the beginning of the week what we’re doing for dinners.

Cozi Messages

The Cozi Family Message Center acts as a virtual white board where you can post notes either for yourself or for the rest of your family to see. We learned that when someone posts a note on the message board, if a cell number for other family members has been added, Cozi sends them a text message.

Cozi Journal

The Cozi Journal is a fun place to store all of your great family moments! You can share your journal publicly (like a blog), share posts to Facebook, and/or email your entries.

Cozi Settings

Cozi makes it really easy to manage your account and information on an user friendly Settings page! From here you can update information about your household, add phone numbers and email address, and even change the color coding on your calendar.

Cozi Mobile

Cozi can be used as a desktop website (where all of my screen shots are from) or as a mobile app on all major platforms (iPhone, Android, Blackberry, and Windows mobile). Don’t have a smart phone/tablet? You can still use Cozi to send information via text or email.

The Pitfalls

• While Cozi does have a mobile app, if you do not have 3G/4G/LTE/Wireless access where you are going, you will have to download your content as the app does not store any information locally on the device

• The ads do not obstruct your view/use of the app but can get annoying. You can upgrade to Cozi gold to get rid of them (and get a few other features) for a low, low payment of just $4.99/mo or $49.99/yr

• The Message Center is not available on the mobile app

The Highlights

• Organizing between you and other family members (this is essential with my family)

• Many great organization features• Very easy to use• The free version, while not having all features of the

paid version, is very extensive and includes all of the best (in my opinion) features
