Established in 2012 from forerunner companies that began in 2007, ANC Enterprises offers:

Alex Blagojevic Director, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer

Alex Blagojevic came to Australia from Yugoslavia in 1989 to play professional soccer in Australia’s top league after tryouts with English Premier League clubs Coventry City and Aston Villa. In 1992, he set up his own boutique financial services company, Crown Financial Services (CFS), which worked under the umbrella of Equity Financial Services where he rose to the position of Director. CFS worked as an agent of Norwich Union and later AXA Australia for more than 15 years. Alex built CFS’s workforce up to 15 and was also its best sales consultant, winning monthly and yearly sales awards on many occasions. He sold CFS in 2006 and went on to property development and established a sports business and a gym and fitness equipment retail store. Alex brings wide-ranging skills and experience in business development, marketing and sales to his role at ANC Enterprises.

Con KozarisDirector, Co-founder and Chief Operations Officer

Con Kozaris was employed in accounting, finance and general management positions with companies such as Leadership Management Australia and the Interlink Group before he and his wife Joanna established New Age BotanicalsTM in 2007. A meeting soon after with potential client Alex Blagojevic, who wanted to develop a line of sports supplements, led to the joint establishment of Crown Supplements in 2008. (Both companies are now brands and divisions of ANC Enterprises.) As COO, Con manages the day-to-day operations of ANC Enterprises. From a Greek background, Con has a long-held interest in essential oils and herbal extracts and is studying for a Bachelor of Health and Science. In conjunction with Tom van Wunnik, Con also assists in the development of ANC’s product formulations

Tom van WunnikDirector and Head of Research and Development

Tom van Wunnik, who arrived in Australia from Holland in 1954, graduated as a natural therapist in 1968. He started his natural therapy practice in Coburg, Victoria, soon after and remains in practice to this day. He is a Fellow of the Australian Natural Therapists Association and has been a member since 1968. Soon after graduation, Tom began importing herbs and extracts he required for his work that were not available in Australia. This led to the development of a 20-year business that supplied these products to natural health professionals around the country. In 1989, he became Co-founder, Director and 50% owner of Aura Laboratories, a TGA-licensed manufacturer of natural pharmaceutical products. The business was sold in 1998. Tom has been a TGA regulatory affairs consultant for 20 years, assisting clients through the registration process for their products. He bought into ANC Enterprises in 2014 as an equal shareholder and his role includes research and development, formulations, and regulatory affairs.

THE IDEA – PRODUCTS THAT WORK

For all company beginnings, there is The Idea – a moment of insight, inspiration or desire that sparks the passion and drive of its founders. For ANC Enterprises, that came in an ongoing frustration for Director and Co-founder Con Kozaris and his wife Joanna, who just wanted a natural-based topical cream that would work on a particular skin condition. For Director and Co-founder Alex Blagojevic, it was sports supplements that worked – products that he could be confident would produce real results for the customers of his sports business.

“Products that work” became the driving philosophy behind the development of New Age BotanicalsTM and Crown SupplementsTM, forerunners of ANC Enterprises that are now two of its brands and divisions. These have been joined by two more divisions: Crown Collections and ANC Exports, which exports a range of Australian-made products to China including infant formulas.

Ingredient quality and sourcing

Ingredients for all products we manufacture are sourced from Australia where ever possible. Any ingredients that must be bought overseas are sourced from suppliers with impeccable credentials. Our priority in ingredient sourcing is qual-ity and efficacy; we will not compromise on our philosophy of creating products that work. All our active ingredients come with a certificate of analysis and are tested to ensure that they meet the analysis supplied.

The quality–pricing equation

Products manufactured by ANC Enterprises (our house brands and products developed or manufactured on behalf of customers) are competitively and reasonably priced for their high quality. Within certain parameters, we can customise a formulation to suit a client’s budget. However, we will not compromise the effectiveness of a product or reduce the essential active ingredients to lower unit price.

ANC Enterprises offers its own unique formulations through its range of skincare products, infant formulas, sports and aged care supplements, weight loss and pharmaceutical products, which we manufacture through our Australian facilities. These products can be developed under our brands or our clients’ brands.

ANC Enterprises has completed the registration and validation process required by China Inspection and Quarantine (CIQ) to import its Australian-made infant formulas into the Chinese market.

The three-stage formulation – infant, baby and toddler – is a registered trademark of ANC Enterprises. The product is made under contract by ViPlus Dairy, based in Toora, Victoria, which is a renowned dairy region. ViPlus is one of only four dairy companies in Australia with the necessary accreditations and certifications to export infant formula to China.

ANC Enterprises takes pride in the high quality of the Crown SupplementsTM

range of dairy-based dietary supplement products it has developed. They come in delicious flavours such as banana, chocolate, tropical, cookies and cream, vanilla, natural and more. (These products also comply with halal certification.)
