MOBILE AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL FACILITIES

RVA has a suite of fully deployable mobile air traffic control towers (MATCT). These facilities come fully equipped with FAA MEL equipment, and are ready to start operating upon placement. These MATCTs can be placed at airfields where the primary facility is undergoing maintenance or renovation, or can be deployed quickly to maintain ATCT coverage following a natural disaster. We have successfully deployed and manned our MATCT to airport locations for temporary or seasonal use.

MAINTENANCE ON AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL AND LANDING SYSTEMS (ATCALS)

RVA employs a cadre of trained maintenance staff, experienced and capable of installation and maintenance of all variety of ATCALS equipment. RVA’s engineers and technicians provide turnkey operations for air traffic

control equipment installations. We install antenna systems, meteorological systems and displays, communications consoles, cordless signal light guns, UHF/VHF air/ground communications systems, digital recording and back-up power systems, ATIS

– digital voice announcement systems, entry control systems and other air traffic control-related equipment and systems. Our technicians have a variety of DoD, FAA and/or FCC certifications and licenses, and are FAA and/or DOD trained. Additionally, many hold manufacturer certifications on the equipment we install and maintain.

RVA provides maintenance support via our mobile maintenance support team (MMST) concept, with maintenance technicians based at key locations around the U.S.. To provide cost-effective, efficient maintenance responses, we maintain test equipment and tool packages for rapid deployment to our MMST. If a part time technician were employed at each of the sites, a full complement of test equipment would be required at each location, resulting in a substantial cost increase.

Some of our work locations over the past 15 years have included Ocala, FL; US Army, Iraq; Ft. Worth/Spinks, TX; Stennis, MS; Olive Branch, MS; Shaw Air Force Base, SC; Eagle, CO; Leesburg, FL; Titusville, FL; Panama City, FL; and Provo, UT. Presently RVA has ATC equipment maintenance support agreements (MSA) at a growing number of locations in the U.S., including:

• Olive Branch, MS: Annual and Callout
