Deadline reports that Paramount is in development on a Teddy Roosevelt drama which will be a star vehicle for DiCaprio, with Scorsese attached to direct. The project marks the third movie the duo has in development, following adaptations of the crime thrillers “The Devil in the White City” and “Killers of the Flower Moon.” Scott Bloom has been set to write the drama, with DiCaprio and Jennifer Davisson producing through their Appian Way banner. The project is in the early stages of development, so there’s no word on what part of Roosevelt’s life the movie will tackle. Scorsese and DiCaprio currently have five titles under their belts together: “Gangs of New York,” “The Aviator,” “Shutter Island,” “The Departed” and “The Wolf of Wall Street.” Scorsese has not confirmed which of the three DiCaprio projects will take precedence as his next project. The actors first stirred up relationship rumors in 2012, in sync with their fic- tional “Game of Thrones” counterparts, Jon Snow and Ygritte. Though they reportedly split after a year, they later reconciled and contin- ued to fuel romance speculation until they officially confirmed the relationship in April 2016, making their red carpet debut as a couple at the Olivier Awards in London. A month after going public with the relationship, Harington, 30, opened up about the early days of the romance, which began on set while shooting in Iceland for season 2 — sweetly admitting that those weeks were his favorite of the series, and for good reason. “Because the country is beautiful, because the Northern Lights are magi- cal, and because it was there that I fell in love,” he said in a cover story for L’Uomo Vogue. “If you’re already attracted to someone, and then they play your love interest in the show, it becomes very easy to fall in love.” Back in 2014, Leslie, 30, also touched on her relationship with her heartthrob costar in an interview with People. “Kit is a lovely and funny man, and a dear friend,” she said. “We had known each other before we started working together on ‘Game of Thrones.’ It was always such a privilege to be working opposite him and such a blessing that we get on in real life because it made our characters more believable.” Their reps did not respond to requests for comment. File photo VETERAN Scottish rockers Runrig are to stage a farewell concert next year to mark their retirement after 45 years in the music business. The band was founded on the Isle of Skye in 1973 and enjoyed U.K. chart success with Gaelic songs in the 1990s. Their song “An Ubhal As Airde” reached No. 18 in the charts in 1995. They have played hundreds of shows across Europe and in New York’s Times Square. The band released their 14th and final studio album, “The Story,” last year. Their final concert will be held in Stirling’s City Park on Aug. 18, 2018. Runrig’s members said they felt it was the right time to wind up the band with their farewell gig, which will be titled “The Last Dance.” Calum Macdonald said: “This has been an enormous and dif- ficult decision for us. But through the machinations of longevity and circumstance, we feel that the timing is now right for a positive and celebratory conclusion.” The band consists of songwriters Rory and Calum Macdonald, along with Skye guitarist Jones and drum- mer Iain Bayne from St. Andrews. Lead vocalist, Nova Scotian Bruce Guthro, joined in 1998 followed by keyboard player Brian Hurren from Falkirk.
