ECTP gathers appropriate members necessary to achive its mission: Contractors, Materials and equipment manufacturers Designer, Architects, Engineers Clients and Users Research Centers and Universities Public Authorities

ECTP counts 131 members: 24 large companies, 13 SME’s, 37 research centers, 30 university and 27 associations.

Implementation of this research strategy involves a combination between the collaborative research instruments and initiatives of a common technology, supported by an action plan which coordinates research priorities in constructions at European, national level, trans-national level.

Projects proposals which are subject to constructions sector may be done within FP 7 (NMP / ICT / ENV / ENERGY /TRANSPORT / PPP EeB), EUREKA BUILD, COST etc.

5 February 2010 - The EurekaBuild2 umbrella proposed by ECTP, as a follow-up of the former EurekaBuild umbrella, to promote trans-national RDI projects on Construction was approved by EUREKA.

12 April 2010: A General Meeting and a Brokerage Event organized by the Energy Efficient Buildings Association (E2BA) of ECTP in the framework of the Valencia EU Conference on FP7 and PPPs.

19 April 2010: The "Energy-Efficient Buildings PPP(Public-Private partnership) Multi-Annual Roadmap and Longer term Strategy", prepared by the Ad-hoc Industrial Advisory Group, was published (EUR 24283 EN)

9 September 2010: The 12th meeting of the ECTP Operational Group (representatives of the Focus Areas and E2B and Refine initiatives).

Case study –Achievements and perspectives in research and development activities of CEPROCIM

CEPROCIM SA activates on market as private company of R&D in building materials range from the year 1996. Previously to this date, operated as state institute.

Company is involved with research, technological engineering, consulting and development for inorganic binder industry (cement, lime, plaster, composite building materials).

Founded 60 years ago, our institute has provided with consulting and commissioned over 80 cement lines in and out of our country.

CEPROCIM was involved in the period 1999-2010 with performing of over 70 national projects, from which as coordinator at 30 national projects.

As result of R&D activity, in the period 1990-2009 has obtained 14 patents and another two are in course of evaluation.

It was rewarded at International Salon of Inventions, Techniques and New Products from Geneva with:

Gold Medal Gold Medal at the 35-th edition, 2007 for “Method of evaluation for standard strength of cements based on early hydration heat”

Silver Medal Silver Medal at the 23-rd, 1995 for

”White Portland cement” Involvement in international projects was lower, in the

period 1999-2010 participating at 4 international projects: PHARE (1), NATO (2) and COST – action TU 0802 (from 2009).



In the company operates an accredited Construction Materials Testing LaboratoryConstruction Materials Testing Laboratory for: for: physical and physical-chemical determinations,

physical-mechanical testing on constructions materials (cement, lime, mortars on masonry, adhesives, clinker, fly ash, slag etc.)

physical-chemical tests on combustible wastes and fuels,endowed with performance apparatus.



Our accredited Environmental and Process Environmental and Process Measurement Laboratory Measurement Laboratory carries out: measurements of emissions inside and

outside manufacturing plants measurements of noise level in industrial

areas and around industrial objectives

Verification Body Verification Body OVEGES checks the Monitoring Reports on greenhouse gas emissions
